HaHa, you and me both. I cant wait to just be able to make my own bed, and not have to look it until bed time. I also cant wait to eat my own cooking, dh is a good cook, but its not the same as mine. Tonjha

I seriously cannot wait...

Lucky for me my daughter has come over every Sunday to change my sheets. I live alone and stocked up on frozen dinner, made lasagna before ande froze it in individual pieces and bought lots of soup/sandwich meat. After about 1-1/2 week I moved to the couch to get a change of scene, the only problem with that is I have found myself sitting up and that does put pressure on the bottom. I have to remind myself to lay back...Its not very hard to over do it! I also can't wait to get to sleep before 1 or 2 and waking up around 5 and trying to get the sleep that I really need. It is going to be very hard when I go back to work as I leave my house at 630 am to get to work by 7!

I hear you loud and clear!!! I am feeling pretty spunky after just a little under two weeks, but know it would be very easy to overdo. And just looking at that jumping makes me know I am NOT back to normal. HA. May we all get there quickly!

I think I am more okay with the waiting for the recovery then the waiting for the surgery. Best wishes
to all of you.

That's so nice of your daughter to do! I also stocked up on frozen meals (for lunches), and both my sister and a good friend of mine made us lasagnas that we cut into pieces and froze (my husband couldn't cook if his life depended on it ).

But I've been mostly sitting up since I got home. I laid in bed the first two days in the hospital and most of my first day home, and I got so sick of it! So I've been sitting up on the couch pretty much since.

I hope I haven't "hurt" anything in there. I didn't get very specific discharge instructions.
