Princess48 maybe if you set a time goal each week for walking. That's what I've tried to do. Cause not only do my leg muscles get tired, but my stomach gets tired from gravity pulling at it. Does that sound weird? Like my muscles hold it all in, but after a while they get tired and I feel kind of hangy... that was the worst part of walking for me in the first few weeks. Now it isn't so bad, but walking more than 15 minutes or so makes my legs tired. I'm setting myself a goal of the end of April to get myself back to walking 40 minutes or so at a time. The fitness thread has lots of people trying to do this.

Bookah, the girls and I from work go to karaoke once in a while too! We drink margaritas and sing our hearts out, blow off steam and have great girl time.

Hi all,
I just got a call from my son in Michigan, he lives in Mt Pleasant, he just got a call from the principal of my grandson's school. My grandson is 5 and in kindergarten. Well, my grandson was in the offide, at recess he thought it would be a grand idea to MOON another boy! My son wanted to know what kind of punishment he should give him. After I stopped laughing and thinking yes, he did get a son just like him!!!, I told him to make him write 10 times I will not moon people and let it go at that. He has already been punished at school. I just cannot stop smiling...my poor son was speechless when the principal told him. What goes around comes around..my son spent alot of time getting to know people in authority at school over the years..with alot of work he has graduated college, has a well paying job that he actually likes, and grew up. So for all of you with children remember there is hope.
Hope everyone is having a great day.

June

getting paid in beer sounds like a good option to me!

As for the mooning five year old. Makes me laugh. I can say without exception that I wouldn't believe a child who moons then becomes a bad adult. That type of behavior just indicates that they don't quite get the line between private and public displays. LOL. My nephew used to collect quarters from his friends to let them see his little sister lift up her skirt. when my brother heard about that he spoke to BOTH of them fast... but on the surface my nephew SHOULD have known better, my niece didn't see anything wrong with it. After all she had on her Strawberry Shortcake panties and was excited about having them! She couldn't wait to show them off! LOL But she was only 4 and my nephew was probably 7ish. My brother made sure to explain why what had happened wasn't okay... one, you don't sell your sister or any part of her! Two, its not nice to be flashing your panties to strangers. I can just picture my brother having THAT conversation! LOL

Too fun! Hundjm - I was thinking of going to Cheers or Village Inn this weekend. Since I start work on Monday I figure I deserve a little bit of fun...right?

June - I love the story about your grandson. My nephew got in trouble in first grade for mooning the teacher. When they asked him why and he said he saw it on the Simpsons. Needless to say my BIL caught it from my SIL

happynow... he is in the UK quite often, actually! His "stage name" is DJayKnick, he and his friend are the group Evol Intent. He recently got back from UK, right now he's on the eastern bloc leg. At the party we had for him, i think he said after this big thing in Miami, he's heading to Eastern Europe for 3 weeks, then back to LA. Ask your son about him! what a small world that would be! haha
