Good morning ladies.

Bagpus45 - I was just thinking that I had not seen you post for a few days. Did you feel that your physiotherapy session helped? Glad to hear you are feeling good.

LOU49 = Do not feel guilty about lurking here. You are not lurking and anyone is welcome to our group. Glad you are feeling a little better today. I think it helps when we get out of the house.

Have a great day!

Hello poco. I'm glad that your six week check went well. I'm sorry princess48 that you are still feeling pain and tiredness. Singingmad I'm really envious of your singing weekend I expect that it took everything out of you. Where everyone lives in America sounds really glamourous. I live in quite a small town although it does have a cathedral. We are within driving distance of London about 45mins and Cambridge about an hour. We are surounded by beautiful Essex countrytside but today it is pretty grim and overcast. Chat soon.

I'm doing some gentle pilates type exercise to help strengthen my abdomen and pelvic floor. I hope to go back to my regular class soon. I'll probably have two or three sessions and yes it definitely helps.

Bagpus - I don't consider where I live glamorous but thank you. It is the country but since I have moved up here 17 years ago the Poconos have become very built up and many people consider it a new suburb of New York City. I was in England many years ago and of course, coming from NYC I consider all cities just cities but I loved London and also saw some of the countryside which I thought was absolutely beautiful. Talk to you soon.

At my younger son's school they have something called exploratories where they try different things. Last year he ended up having the pilates class for two different sessions and actually loved it so we ended up buying the pilates tapes. I was thinking of trying some of the easier ones in another week or two since the dr had said still no lifting or bending but I know I desperately need to get some exercise and was thinking some of those exercises might be easy to do.

Nanette- pilates is great! But let me warn it- it will HURT if you don't ease into it after a long period of no excercise!! I mean an OUCH- what the hell did I do to myself- kind of soreness!!! but it is a fantastic form of physical activity. Will get your body into great shape and really strengthen your core.
now if I could just get off my ever widening behind and do some...
