Pocono... figure on showing up around 2 pm... in your jammies! And consider you'll be sharing your meal with two adults, two dogs, and three cats! But the more the merrier! LOL

We used to go out for dinner on Easter. The last few years we've gone to my DP's aunt's house in CT but its a very long drive and not a comfortable situation (both for the long drive AND for sitting around in a formal house!). So we're just hanging out. Have fun going out though. Sometimes its surprising how many people DO that!

Pouring rain and freezing sounds like a good time for bubble bath playtime for a six year old.... then wrap up in blankets and watch a movie!!!! Or maybe setting up a blanket "fort" to play in. Course those are ideas from MY childhood and maybe kids these days are too sophisticated for that simple stuff.

Singingmad - We don't usually go out but I don't think I am really up to cooking a big meal this year, however, we will probably pick up stuff just in case we really do get the snow.

On the Couch - I don't know if you are willing to do this but sometimes I would let my kids play with shaving cream in the bath. They would make all kinds of designs on the walls and then we would just wash it off. Let me say it kept them busy and I think a 6 year old would like doing that. I actually had gotten the idea from their pre-school teacher. She would let them play with it when practicing their letters on the tables. I also used to do the other ideas mentioned. If you are not up to playing have you ever seen the Magic School Bus series? I don't know if they still sell the tapes (It is still on tv) but they are really educational and my kids loved watching them. In fact, my older one even before he went to pre-school could name all the planets because of that show. Each show focuses on a different topic that has to do with science.

Thanks for the great ideas singing and pocono. I know the shaving cream idea will be a hit. They make soap for kids that comes out like shaving cream and it's in different colors. AJ would put it on his face like daddy and shave himself with a toothbrush. I have to find out where dh bought it. Love it. I will also check out the tapes. He could definately use a bit of education. Thanks again.

Good Afternoon all,
Well, the house hunt is on. We went and looked at one today. It is in the country and the landlord knows who our current landlord is and didn't have anything nice to say about him. I look at that as a plus.
I am over being weepy about having to move and figure it is for the best.
It is cold and snowy here!! I think WI forgot it was springtime!!!
DH has to work on Easter so we went up north to our sons last Sunday and celebrated early.
Hope all are doing great.
Thank you all for being here!!

Best luck with the house hunting. Let us know what you find. I hope your weather clears up, but when it leaves you it comes to us. I guess they're right about snow on Easter here. Take care.

Hi Bookah, hope you are taking some ibuprofen for your soreness, and if it persists...call dr. vs and let him know what you did and why you think you are sore...he will say "you did what???!!!" ;0) I really hope all is well with you. By the way, vivi rn says hi and she was touched that you remembered her name. I haven't seen Korrie though lately.
I am doing really pretty darn good!! I really swear by my hormone replacement, for me it is the bomb diggety!! That means really good. I have been feelling up to some exercise and back at work, and although I want to clean my house like mad, I won't get into spring cleaning just yet....afraid to over do it (like you did! ;0))

Flat Froggie.....you poor dear!! I am so sorry to hear you are not up to snuff right now. Please consider hormone replacement therapy, you are so young!!! You really should benefit from something like that, it is something you should look into in my humble opinion. I have opened the playground too, and my swings are working the slide is working and the teeter totter thing is working too!! smirk smirk
Have you heard anything more on the Farwell music fest thing?

lmg....I am in awe!! Thanks so much for thingking of all of us and taking the time to post!!! I read all our post almost everyday but don't always have the time to post or sometimes just don't have a lot to say....I am thinking of all of you hyster sisters everyday though!!
Hello to my sisters across the pond today as well....thinking of you and wondering how Lady Camilla is doing?? Any word?
Talk to you all later,
Janette

On the couch - Did you get my very long message. It is not in my sent folder so I am not sure if you got it. My hystersister message box is full but when I go to delete it doesn't let me. I guess I will have to ask one of the hostesses or dh will look at it over the weekend. My dh will also get rid of all my spam for me. I made the mistake of signing up for a free newsletter and I now literally get 100's of junk e-mail a day. The sad part is I don't remember what the free newsletter was even for. I am good with the basic stuff on the computer but not the technical stuff like how to send the spam back so they won't keep sending it. I also wanted to tell you that when you mentioned AJ shaves with a toothbrush it brought back memories of my boys shaving with daddy but check out CVS and the toy stores. We had actually found make believe plastic razors. It was so cute the kids would shave using the razors and then come out to show me how smooth their faces are and ask me if they got all the hair off. If you can't find the tapes, let me know, we used to tape all the shows for the kids and I think I still have it. I could get a copy to you.

IMG420 - Sorry, my box is full. I will delete stuff this weekend.
