My DP and are are spending our first Easter in a number of years with "just the two of us". We usually travel to CT for the day to spend with family. We're hoping if the weather is nice enough, to go out and buy an apple tree. Its my wedding gift that I never got last year. That and some ducks. But the ducks will have to wait til the weather is more consistently warmer because right now the barn is home to some stray cats and I THINK they'll be having kittens. Not a good mix with baby ducks! But celebrating life and springtime and being together is our Easter celebration! I'll be cooking rack of lamb for us with asparagus and roasted potatos and maybe we'll crack open a bottle of wine we got as a gift at christmas.... definitely looking forward to the weekend!!!

Lainie - My guess would be its stitches you're passing. They CAN be accompanied by some discharge and a bit of pinkish bloodiness. You might not even see the stitches themselves, but if you've gone back to work and are maybe more up and around it could have "helped" them to get a move on! My doc told me to expect that through week 8 or so. And I'm at the end of week 8 today!

Well, my doctor said it could be some vaginal granulation and to watch and see if it happens again next week. I am also having pain on my right side, but he doesn't seem to understand where it is coming from. It is a burning/pulling/knife like pain around my waist/hips and right ab area. All surface pain. It is disheartening that I feel worse 8 weeks out than I did a few weeks ago.

Hi MyFathersChild - No I don't know if Camilla is a sista, although she should be, b/c of her hyst right near ours. Today I feel so tired but no pain. I'm seven weeks post op. I actually had surgery Feb 13 but I can never find that thread so I joined this one. I like you better!!!!! Ha ha ha- Just taking a motrin once a day, if that, so life is good. We have so much to be thankful for...I wrote my Dr. a heartfelt thank you note for doing this surgery; I had been trying to get a second opinion or get out of having the surgery. Finally he said everyone he knows in the ob/gyn field would have given me a hyst years ago. I had atypia, just recently detected, so he was not playing; time to go. But all's well that ends well as W. Shakespeare said. Happy holidays, and hope you are will - yomiss

Pia,
I've not posted in a while. Too dang tired. Just read when I can. But I had to post when I read about your daughter. Isn't it just terribly scary when your baby is ill?? I imagine all kinds of things. Then are start praying that the Lord will help me to be not afraid!!! When I was young I remember our priest at the time preaching a sermon about not worrying. I'm still working on it. I'm glad Bella is better. It sounds like that rotovirus (sp). I will pray that you all get well soon.

I will be traveling to my mil's house for Easter which is three hours away so we will be getting up for 8 am mass and then leave. Last year we actually went to the Easter vigil with Catherine in tow and I thought I would fall over!!! So I don't think we will try that again

Sorry to hear so many still aren't feeling up to par... I myself am doing well. I layed 800 sq/ft of sod/grass the last 2 days...by myself and didn't have any bad effects...ok maybe some extra swelly belly. Haven't had any hot flashes or night sweats, insomnia etc. I guess I am one of the really lucky ones. I had a TAVH/BSO with 13 lymph nodes removed due to uterine cancer. Hang in there girls....better days ahead. Happy Easter everyone....

Kappel - So glad to see you posting again. I was wondering what happened to you. So sorry you are so tired. I understand the feeling. We usually go to my mil for Easter and she invites my sister and bil but I am truly not up to it this year so we are just going to go out to dinner. Wishing you a very happy easter and some energy too!

On the Couch - I sent you an e-mail earlier today. It is similar to what I originally said but not exact. Let me know if you get it since IMG said hers bounced back.

I know I am really tired today so sorry for not posting everything at once. I can't remember who it was that posted their dad is going in for gall bladder surgery but wanted to wish them good luck. Hopefully they can do it laparoscopy because that is much easier. I had mine out 13 1/2 years ago that way and everything is fine. I don't miss it.
