Nanette
You will find the games are addictive. Glad you enjoy them too.
I'm sorry to hear about your dh with 9-11. I'm sure you have a long story about that horrible day. My mom and brother were in the city too, and a few others I know had a nightmare. One, unfortunately died in tower 1. Can't get into it now. But we will. I hope you resolve the strep problem. I feel so bad for you guys. Let us know what happens.
June, best of luck in your new home.
Elizabeth, so good to see you here. Sorry about your troubles. Hope the hormones stay at bay.
My best to all, I never mean to exclude anyone, but my brain is not organized enough to acknowledge all of you. But I treasure you all.

Caroline - I don't know if you will see this but if your kids are not doing anything mine were outside and came in bec they had seen the commercial. Sound of music is on abc family. I know it will also be on tomorrow and Sat. Talk to you later. Yes one day we will have to talk about WTC - I think the way we both are we will both end up crying I almost did just writing about it and dh.

Thanks Nanette, I just put Sound of Music on. Had to run out again because dd#2 comes home from her break to eat and have to bring her back in 20 mins. I also almost cryed when you mentioned WTC, too. Instead, I will cry from Sound of Music.

Hi ladies
Happy Easter to those who celebrate - and a blessed Passover to those who observe that holy day. My hearts go out to you sisters who were directly touched by the WTC - even thought I am in MN - there was stuff for the company I worked for, friends lost friends, but tomorrow is Easter. June so glad to hear you found a place, I'll have to look up where Kiel is in Wisconsin. I found myself wearing pleated front pants the past few days - and I'm filling the pleats! Trying to stay away from the "treats", hoping that will help the belly over time - Dh the Rn reminds me that it can be 6 mos for it all to settle down.....but I too am feeling better as long as the energy lasts
Take care
Rebekah

Thanks, Rebekah, for your thoughts on WTC. It's still really hard to even think about it. Can't even imagine what it's like for those that lost husbands, wives, kids, moms dads . But I agree, a Blessed Easter and Happy Passover to all who celebrate. Life moves on.

Elizabeth. Maybe give melatonin a try. I have found my insomnia is around more than before the surgery and I take it almost every night. But I wake up when my cats cry or one of my dogs whines downstairs... and it doesn't make me groggy or anything... just relaxed. I wouldn't think it would cause you a problem with Sara. You can buy it over the counter... usually in vitamin section of grocery store even! I recommended it to a friend who'd come to stay with us last weekend. She's having major stress problems and hasn't slept more than 2 - 3 hours a night for weeks.... she tried it Saturday night and woke up Sunday feeling AWESOME!!! I take it around 10 at night and wake up at 5 AM ready to be up and around.... so there's no lingering effect either.

Elizabeth, my DP can get the same way about being insecure.... based on a previous experience. I guess sometimes we don't know how much of an impact it can make on someone to have trusted and given their love to someone and have those things thrown back in our face.... it makes my DP worry always that she isn't worth someone giving to her and caring for her. She feels that down deep no one really WOULD love her. Maybe your husband feels the same way and the difference in your ages compounds that. I mean he feels good because he is older and experienced and has something to give you... but receiving can be the hardest gift of all... giving someone the opportunity to GIVE can take so much strength. Anyway, just a thought.
Glad your children are feeling better and I hope the grandchild adoption thing finds resolution soon. I can imagine its not easy at all!!!

Hi everyone!

Singingmad - I just started taking the melatonin and it does seem to help. My dh takes it sometimes so I already had it in the house.

Bagpus - So sorry about your dad. Hope he feels better soon and you too.

Everyone have a great day tomorrow.

Hi Reb - thanks for your thoughts on WTC. It was a very difficult day to say the least.

Ok everyone - I went with my kids to JCPenney today to pick up some things for them. I decided to try on tops and came home very frustrated. As I have said I need to lose weight but my belly is now bigger than it was before surgery. Everything was too tight around the tummy. I did manage to get 2 tee shirts but they had some really nice tops and they all fit except just a little too snug around the belly so going up a size did not help either. Sorry I am venting today. I am looking forward to getting energy back and hopefully then will be able to go back to exercising but I know that has nothing to do with swelly belly.

I am making more hard boiled eggs to color since I made some yesterday but overcooked them and 4 came out cracked. Oh well - things happen.

Elizabeth - Hope things are going better at home.

Everyone have a great day tomorrow!!!!! Hugs to everyone!
