I can vacuum, but who wants to when you don't have too! I could probably dust, too!

I vacuumed last week. The vacuum seemed very heavy to push, so I decided it is too soon and DH can still do that task

Hi everyone! I am glad you all had such nice weekends! I am feeling much better today. Thank you for all your kind words and support.

I had a wonderful night last night. My aunt and uncle surprised us with a visit. I haven't seen them in over 6 years. We had such a nice time and they got to see the kids. I wish I were better at keeping in touch with the out of town relatives.

Singingmad - did your dp find out what is wrong? I hope she is doing better now that she saw the doctor. Keep us posted.

Take care everyone

I think feeling tired is normal. You don't get your muscles back overnight and so you'd definitely feel tired. Think of how atrophied muscles get from inactivity. You've got to build them back to where they were. And while you're doing that OTHER muscles kick in to take on as much as they can. So you get tired. I cleaned my tub/shower last weekend, and I've been dragging my laundry basket up and downstairs (if I look pitiful enough my dp does it!). But when you feel tired, you just need to rest. Doesn't mean you shouldn't keep doing the stuff.. but listen to your body and when you're tired, rest, when you feel pain (real pain, not a workout kind of pain) take it that you shouldn't be doing those things! And if you dont' feel that you're up to where you should be, give your doc a call!!!!!

Well, we went in for the ultrasound this morning and everything looked clear to them so no emergency surgery which was a big relief! Now they're waiting for bloodwork results. The radiologist said she MAY have passed a stone and the ducts are just irritated, or it may be pleurisy. If its the latter she'll just have to hang in there and wait it out. She's meeting with her PCP tomorrow so we'll get more information then.

singingmad: Glad no surgery is needed for your DP. Hope all goes well

bookah: Glad you are feeling better.

We went and gave the landlord the security deposit yesterday. We had Reggie with, he said let her out of the truck, so we did. She was a perfect lady!! No jumping or barking, just sniffed around, peed, and listened well, then she jumped back in the truck. The landlord looked at us and said This is the dangerous dog?? ha! ha!
We are suppose to get 3-6 inches of snow tonite. Sure hope this weather warms up before we start to move!!
Well, I need to get ready to go have a mamogram done!! That will be my excitement for the day

Have a great day everyone!!

Howdy all! I have been vacuuming for about three weeks. Although after my setback it has been few and far between. I throw the laundry basket (it's tall and mesh) down the stairs and then drag it into the laundry room

As a recovery update I feel so much better today. I just took it easy yesterday and the pain is gone. My cold is starting to go away too. My dh looks like he is dying and took off work, surprise, surprise.
