I didn't think you were a "honkerblonking" kind of gal. lol Did the word get censored while you were typing?

I don't know how they did it, I did not see it until after I posted and was rereading it. In this case I am glad I did since I don't want people thinking that is a word I would use. I also started laughing after seeing it there. The word I used could describe someone going to urinate to put it nicely.

I'll have fun with this at work tomorrow. My coworkers love things like the annual talk like a pirate day so I'm sure they'll love inserting honkerblonker into their language whenever they can.

Just wanted to let everyone know who may be breaking out that I got my proactive earlier this week and after only using it 3 times my blemishes are finally clearing up. So I know it will end up drying out my skin a little but I really needed some help.

Laura, I was posting at the same time as you were again. Glad I can give your co-workers something to laugh about tomorrow. I just noticed your surgery date was the same as mine. Aren't we lucky (lol)we have that in common but wanted to say belated happy 10 week hysteranniversary. I think I may actually try to get some sleep now. Have a good night and I am sure we will talk again soon. You should definitely talk your company into paying for a flight out here. We would have a lot of fun shopping and honkerblonkering.

Hey girls! That is too funny about the honkerblonking! I love it.

Well, I just got some disheartening news from my doctor. I have been hypothyroid since 2001 and I had an u/s in the summer that showed some nodules. As a follow up my doctor ordered a radioactive thyroid scan. I had that done in November and it came back normal (I had nodules but they didn't look like cancer). You all know I had a follow up u/s on Tuesday. Anyway, I just got a call and it turns out I have a large solid mass on my right thyroid

The nurse just called and said they want to order another radioactive scan. Do any of you have any experience with this? I'm not so sure I want all that radiation in me again. Any advice would be great. I will post this on the cancer board too.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Nanette, thank you for your prayers. I had my c/t scan yesterday, yuck, I had to drink 2 containers of sulfate and then they couldn't get the iv to go in for the dye, so it was not fun. They say now it may be adhesions from surgery. I should find out today. Then my dd and I both have our follow up visits, same dr, same time, so that will be easier on 4/26.So I am hanging in there, trying very hard to get through all of this. Again thank you for your prayers and for listening to me, that helps too. I hope you are doing well, talk to you soon.
Have a great day

Bookah, I am so sorry. I am hoping it is not cancer but a benign tumor. I will say a prayer for you. Sorry I can't help with the radioactive scan. I don't know much about them. Please keep us posted on what's happening. Good luck with the test.

Jayne - Just wanted you to know that there is a machine they can use that helps them guide the iv in. It helps them to see what they are doing. Ask them about it bec I had terrible trouble with IVs so for surgery the anesthesiologist numbed my arm or hand and then placed it no problem. When I thought I needed to go for a cat scan I called the nuclear medicine dept and they are the ones who told me about the machine. Sorry I can't think of what they called it. Just in case you were to need to do this again but we hope not.Good luck with everything.
