Good morning Ladies,

It is so nice to come here and see how everyone is doing!
Not too much going on here. I did talk to our former landlord yesterday about when he is sending our security deposit. He said he is charging us for fixing the lawn. Urine spots from the dog. Well, I did some investigating and he cannot charge us. So I will wait for him to send the check with the deductions and then send him a letter stating that it was normal wear and tear(she did not dig or damage the lawn) we also offered to repair the spots and he said no, and I will inform him he has a week to refund our money or I will contact consumer advocacy and they will take care of it. Yes, I went and took pictures of the lawn also. I also have 2 neighbors that will state Reggie did no damage. My other option is to take him to small claims court...I just do not understand some people..I washed all the walls, cleaned behind the stove and frig(yuck..it was not done before I moved in) We also cleaned all the carpets. Guess he had to try and find something.
My lilacs are in bloom and they are beautiful!! Am bringing some in today to put in vases. They smell so good!
A pair of chickadees decided my birdhouse would be a nice home. So every morning I see them flitting around. They are so cute.
Cleaned out all the flower beds on Monday. That was a chore!! And I wasn't sore at all!! Guess I am healing.
We are planning a trip to go see our son in lower Michigan at the end of June. My DH hasn't been to his new home and is very excited about going. Hopefully, we will bring our grandson back to spend the month of July with us. My son is going to Alaska at the end of July for vacation and we were just going to have the grandson for a week, but I think a month would be alot more fun.
Well, I suppose I sould get busy doing something.
Have a great day and keep smiling!!
June

Wow so much to read. I am glad everyone is getting back to normal. Bookah212 glad to here that your foreclosure is adjourned. I am going to be going though a foreclosure soon. I think I will be moving in the next 3 months . I am hoping after summer. I am very scared about it. I think that is why I am taking so long to heal cause of of the stress. Well everyone has a great week. It is going to great weather all week here bye all.

Good afternoon everyone,

Catnapper and Nanette - I guess when you think of Missouri it doesn't sound much like a sailing state. People do sail on the Mississippi, though I don't because of barges. There is a man made lake in Illinois about an hour and 1/2 from where I live that is a great sailing lake (good wind). That is where the sailing club I belong to is at. I also occasionally travel to regattas (sailing races) other places like Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, California, etc. Though I probably will not be doing that this summer. Sailing uses a lot of stomach muscles leaning in and out. So I am not sure how easy that is going to be. I will probably end up in the water.

Well I have to go for now will catch up with everyone later.

Oh Princess Yes it is extremely stressful. I have had panic attacks, insomnia, asthma attacks. I know it isn't my fault that the damage was done and we can't rent it out but it is still humiliating. Even now that they agreed to adjourn it, they can't take away the fact that they published our names and address in the paper so everyday I come home to a mailbox full of junk from realtors, flippers, and bankruptcy lawyers. My mom was a realtor before she passed and I am still close with alot of her friends. If you have any specific questions or concerns feel free to pm me. Good luck to you and I will keep you in my prayers.

Hello to everyone else. Today started hectic for me. I thought I was going to leave the house with time to spare. I went out to load the car and realized I had left the sunroof open and it rained on my dd's carseat. After wrapping that in blankets I loaded the kids in the car and off we went. At the end of the block my ds says "mom, I forgot my sling (for his broken arm)." Then I got stuck in traffic. I walked into the office 5 minutes late and have been rushing ever since I have to look back and smile though. This is life telling me to slooooow down.

Well, I am excited for my weekend. My mother in law is taking me and the rest of the girls to the casino. She does this every year and she gives us each $$$ to gamble with. I am hoping I can bring some home, we could sure use it.

Have a great day everyone.

A trip to the casino bookah! That sounds like fun. We go to Mohegan Sun once a year (or so) and usually win enough to buy a nice dinner. When we went on our honeymoon last summer we went to a few casinos out in Palm Springs.... WOW are they different than what we'd become accustomed to!!! LOL

singingmad, I went to the Mohegan Sun a year ago and just loved it. Its so beautiful inside and the shops and restaraunts are great. We live 30 minutes from AC and do not go down there much. Borgata is nice inside restaraunts are a little pricey I think and parking is great there. A trip over to the boardwalk casino's is nice then you can walk down the boardwalk and enjoy the air and sound of the waves. SO NICE

I've never been to the boardwalk in AC. I have been to the one in Rehoboth Beach in DE. THAT is so fun, but no casinos! We love Mohegan Sun's design... the rooms are very expensive but GORGEOUS and I love their slot machine called "flip flop". I win on that thing EVERY TIME!!! LOL We usually go around my birthday and I get to go to the spa for a massage, then we have a nice dinner, gamble a little bit, maybe watch a show or go to a game and that's it. A nice escape! But I'd love to have the ocean nearby as well. Maybe I'll check out AC next time!

Good early evening everyone! My cable company was down for a while and my computer just came back up. It seems like we have had a busy day on our site today. Well I can't say the shot has worked yet but I guess only time will tell. As I have said it is very frustrating. I already have a list of things I was suppose to do for my ds school and now won't be able to.

June - What a stinky landlord. I hope you do take him to court if he does not give you back your money. I am so glad you sound so happy at your new place.

Hi Cindy, Thanks for the info. It sounds like such fun. I have never been sailing but think that is one thing I would enjoy. I have been on a cruise and love being on boats and ships.

Bookah and Princess48 - So sorry about all the stress. I agree that the stress is not helping you guys to heal at all. Try to remember sometimes in life things are beyond our control and there is nothing you can do about it. It is easy for me to say since I am not in that position but I know if I was I would be just as stressed as both of you are.

My in-laws go to Mohecan Sun in Ct and love it. They have actually just opened one about 45 minutes from us. Anyone want to come visit? I will meet you there. It is suppose to be beautiful. Pennsylvania had just recently approved certain areas/hotels to get slot machines.

Bookah - Have fun at the casinos. You deserve a nice time out. I have not been to Atlantic City except once and that was about 25 years ago. It was not as built up as it is now. I just walked along the boardwalk.

I guess I will sign off for now.
Hope everyone has a great evening. Hugs to all!

I almost forgot. Today is 13 weeks post op. Can't believe how time flies. To anyone else who is 13 weeks today happy hysteranniversary.

Hi Laura, I checked and it looks like you are online too. How are you? It has been a while since we have been on at the same time. How is clothes shopping going?
