Hey guinea I had a ganglion removed and it grew right back and now I have carpal tunnel in both wrist. I'll keep that ugly ganglion then have it removed again. When it bothers me I out an ace bandage wrist wrap on it for a few days and it feels better. Good luck on it.

Hello I had a ganglion too over twenty years ago. It was cut out. I still have a big scar on my wrist barely noticable now but the surgery was very painful. My boss of that time appeared with pink roses. Well I didn't get any roses this time for the hyst loads of flowers though. Going to Ringwood Hants next weekend for this wedding solo. Very nervous not sleeping well. Hmm determined to enjoy it though. My own wedding anniversary on 27th May. I have been married 18 years. Chelsea Flower Show on Tuesday. We go every year we are veterans!! WE LOVE IT. See you all soon. BP.

Bag, I don't remember the ganglion surgery being painful just know that I have a scar that looks like a centipede and tw ganglions in the one spot. My neurologist was suprised that it came back within a month and there are two of them. Go figure. They can stay there now. Maybe if I end up with carpal tunnel syndrome surgery I will get them removed.

It was twenty years ago at least. I remember being in hospital with my arm up something like a windsock. Very uncomfortable.

Hi to all
I've been swamped at work with a new training schedule for computer classes and then after my restrictions were lifted we got a bit busier. I'll be in LA over the Memorial day weekend. Hope everyone has a good holiday!

cbrn-I haven't been on in awhile so I just saw your post. What is pm? You can go ahead and do it, whatever it is! I actually live near Sunset Hills and work at a hospital near there. Nice to know!
To all the other hystersisters-it is a bit disappointing to have other issues after the surgery and recovery are over. I had an experience with nerve palsy, which is trauma to the nerve and it affects the muscles which lay over it. This is along both of my inner thighs. I went to a neuologist and he thinks it will improve with time. I'm sure it will, I just have to be patient. I'm determined to regain everything I had before the surgery. Good luck to all of you and keep the faith!

Two other off-label uses of naltraxone are for eating disorders and post-concussion syndrome. Not sure what you're taking it for. Why not ask your doc to explain that to you? Good luck!

alcohol and estrogen

Does anyone have info on the link between alcohol and estrogen? I read a prior post that alcohol raises estrogen levels. How does that figure for anyone who can't be on estrogen because of endometrial cancer surgery? Thanks a bunch

Hi everyone! I am just popping in. I hope you all have a nice long weekend planned. I can't wait. I feel like all I have been doing is work, sleep, work, sleep. Things have calmed down on the homefront. My son's arm is healed, the house drama is on hold, I haven't been in pain.
