Hi everyone. Glad to hear the flooding is not effecting you Bagpus. I think we are all still feeling tired at times. I got my 5th shot on Monday and sorry to say I am still in pain so now I have to go see a neurosurgeon, if they can't help the dr has told me I have to live with the pain so I am not too happy about that. My recovery from the hyster has gone pretty well. I still get some pain in my incision but I think that is being caused by the high humidity and the rain. But the pain is not enough to cause me any real problems. I also don't miss having my period and enjoy that part especially with it being summer.

LeAnn, glad you found this site. The women on it are wonderful and so supportive. I could not have made it through my surgery without this site. Best wishes on your recovery.

Hello everyone, it's been awhile, hope all is well. We got back from FL and my DH is a new man. He no longer has any back and knee pain, no longer takes pain meds, walks taller, and over all himself again. On July 25 it was our 20th anniversary, then on July 31 I had to turn 40, so we have had several milestones lately.I still can't believe how successful his surgery was. I want to tell everyone who has chronic neck or back pain about this dr, who gave me back my DH.We both go to our local YMCA and exercise in the pool together. On Tuesday I see a new dr about all the issues I am still facing 6 months later, so I can get my life back. One nice thing is not having a period this summer, doesn't interfere with beach and pool activities. My DD is getting ready to start college in 2 weeks (soph) locally and my DS will start 11th grade Sept.4.So there is always stuff to get done. Thankfully the house was still standing after 3 weeks in FL.I hope everyone is feeling well and enjoying the summer. Anyone taking or has taken a vacation somewhere good?I have said plenty, I will let you know how my dr visit goes next week.
Take Care
Jayne

Jayne, I'm glad to hear your husband's back surgery was a success. Good luck with the new doc you're seeing on Tues. Also, happy be-lated birthday!

June, best wishes to your husband on the 15th. I don't have a garden but have certainly been enjoying lots of locally grown tomatoes and sweet corn from the farmer's market.

I'm feeling pretty good these days. It is nice to not have all the pain and cramping disrupting my life. My sales at the store have increased and I'm sure it's because I'm feeling better. I'm going to the doc on Wed. for my annual exam. She will still do a pap smear for the next few years and if they're okay I won't have to have them anymore.

Take care.

I am so glad to see all of you on again. I am feeling ok . Glad to see you are all getting back to normal. I am getting ready to find a job, move. Yesterday was my 18 year anniversary. My Dh sent me a dozen roses and 2 ballons today. I was surprised. I was getting alittle upset that he did not even get me a card yesterday but he wanted to surpise me today. I will be on later to talk more so much to do bye!

Hi everyone. I can't believe I forgot that it is our 6 month hyster anniversary.
Jayne - so glad to hear your dh back surgery went so well. Maybe there is hope for me yet. The shots did not work so I now have to figure out the next steps. We just got back from Mystic, Connecticut and had a great time. It was busy but so relaxing at the same time.
June - your garden sounds wonderful. Enjoy your tomatoes. Sounds like you have been having a wonderful time this summer. Of course, I will say a prayer for your dh and hope everything goes well with his back surgery.
Princess48- Happy Anniversary.
Hi Laura, sounds like everything is going well for you. Talk to you soon. I also feel great that I did not have to worry about my period anymore this summer.
Hugs to everyone and talk again soon.

Hi all
This Sunday made 6 months for me - considering where I was then and even 3 months ago - wow what a difference. I am so glad I did not wait any longer - the funny thing is this summer I haven't had a chance to go to the pool or beach - and now I can - last summer I was often there but not having any fun...oh I will have fun in France when we get our vacation in september. FYI I was almost going to take that bridge in Minneapolis when I heard it had colapesed. I was just 5 minutes up the road....I'm glad for computer errors now

Hi Reb, We are so glad that you were not on that bridge. It was a terrible tragedy and I hope all states now are inspecting their bridges and not taking a wait and see attitude. Have a great vacation. And isn't that the way it always works that you can go to the beach and pool but not have any time to go this year when you don't have to worry about your period. When I went to Europe many years ago I got my period late so had it going there and then got my period early so had it coming home (I was there for 4 weeks). So I know you will have a great time with no worries about periods.
