Boy, can I relate to the hormonal thing.

I am truly blue lately, and not sure if it is hormonal, or because things are getting back to "normal" around here.

I was hoping to feel much better by now, and am starting to get nervous about events (like my twins' 2 birthday parties- kids and family, and trip to AC with best friend for my belated 40th) that are all scheduled for the end of March.

I want to cry because I get so frustrated by how tired I get and how painful even sitting up too long can be.
And, I have started to do more because my dh is losing his mind.

And, now I found out he has to stay away overnight the 20th.

So, am I blue because my hormones are erratic (I do have both ovaries, but was told they sometimes go array in the beginning? Plus, since I will still pms, I am wondering if my cycle will be around my TAH anniversary date each month).

Also, sorry to see that others are suffering from this burning thing around the belly button. That hurts more than anything else and has begun to grow in circumfrence(sp).

I would strongly urge you to place a pillow between your stomach and the seatbelt! Even if its just a dining chair cushion. That's what my doctor recommended. I find driving very tiring to my stomach, but the pillow keeps my incision area protected pretty nicely.

My lovely conductor in the big choir mentioned playpen and crib before my hyster. I didn't laugh! Wasn't sure what the implication was as he is gay and had his hand over mine at the time! He is a brilliant musician and teacher and renowned counterenor. Not sure about world renowned so no names mentioned!

Kappel, I read the post from that woman and I think she is someone in a lot of pain and looking for answers that none of us can give her. I think she is so upset because she cannot figure out what to do herself and was hoping to find an answer here. I read some of your posts to her and I just want to tell you that you sound like a really special person with a lot of love to give. My sister is now 58 years old and has been married for 33 years. They tried for 16 years to have children and could not. Drs did all the tests on her and my bil and could not find anything wrong with them. They wanted to adopt but because they are deaf they would not give them a child, not even a deaf child because they were told hearing people want deaf children. I personally thought that was very unfair and I realize how difficult it was for her (she is 7 years older than I am) and how amazingly (if that is a word) she has handled it. She loves my 2 boys more than anything and tells me that they are hers too and I agree. I guess I don't go into the aching hearts too much because it makes me so sad and even now I am crying a little. I always wanted more children myself but it was not meant to be but I feel so lucky to have my boys and look forward to the day when I can become a grandparent. Sorry, I did not mean for this to go on and on. I guess it just so happened my sister called me through a special phone service to see how I am while I was in the middle of writing this. I can't tell you and everyone else how much this site has helped me through this and continues to help me. My love to everyone and I would be there for each and everyone of you at any time during the day or night if I lived close enough.

Ok, curiousity has the best of me. Who is this nasty poster you all keep talking about? How many pages back is she?

Was she very upset?

See what happens when I am off the boards for a few days.

Big to everyone

lainiek, the post is in aching hearts which is why I did not see it but just look at a few of the posts and you will find it very quickly and yes she was/is very very upset and I think just needs to yell at people because she has to make a big decision but really was not happy with anyone's advice.

Guineapigs38, Have a good time!

I checked out the negative posts on Aching Hearts. Thank goodness that is the exception and not the rule on this site. I used to belong to Weight Watchers Online and was really disgusted with the posts on the general/daily thread. People would actually get into cyber fights. I guess some people think since they're anonymous they can get away with bad behavior. I didn't post a reply on Aching Hearts but am proud of those of you who did. Perhaps, after some reflection, she'll realize what this site is all about.

Ok everyone please remind me not to go on aching hearts. I had been there but not for a while with one of the posts talking about missing mom. My parents have been gone, mom 26 yrs and dad 24 yrs and every time I go to the site I just cry my eyes out. I guess I am posting this in the wrong spot but it just makes me so sad. When you read the posts it is really true that it is upsetting when we see people who still have their moms not appreciating them. I know that is the way life is but for anyone who still has their mom call them or give them a big hug and a kiss and tell them how much you love them. Sorry for being so sad right now.
