happy now- I would love to come over to England, but alas no one will watch me brats(only kidding- I love them, really I do). However, I have always wanted to visit the UK. As a Literature major in College, I always wanted to do a literary tour. Hit all the spots mentioned in Jane Austin, Charles Dickens, and Emily Bronte's books to start. But, I'm sending a big hug across the Atlantic in the interim.

For my PA/NY/NJ crew- we should definitely set up a date to meet in the near future, when we are all up to it. (Caroline- you and are are literally less than 15 minutes away) Also, Caroline, may I recommend staying away from the mall on the weekends. I have been hitting it in spurts during the week and it is much more pleasant and less daunting. I do it in wings ( Tuesday I was in Macy*s, Disney and Borders). Start off on a Monday and work your way back to weekends. By the way, how old is your dd?

i went to the gym today for the first time in MONTHS!!! i haven't exercised in nearly a year due to all the pain from endo. i have been walking outside the last few days but it's rather warm and i decided to put my gym dues to work. i walked for 40 minutes at a nice comfy pace and i was so proud of myself. i'm pooped of course but it felt great to move and be back at the gym...i'm going to keep on going. i haven't taken any pain meds i feel fine. i've been a touch moody and i'm retaining water but other than that i feel fine. i may accidentally get in shape again after all! ha!

yay for progress!!!

Hi Lainie
I know we are really close by each other. I'll take your advice about the mall, too. I would love to get together with the local crew I wonder, what would be a central location? I have 3 girls, 8,16 & 18 , also 2 boys, 5 & 11. Crazy :marble: huh? Have a great night

So a tiny vent that probably makes no sense here...

I finally got my surgery reports from the hospital today and as i was reading it, it as so weird.. reading about what they did to me in such clinicla terms, which I didn't really understand. I think it's all good news, though! The did the TVH, but they also did something callled a McCall enterocele repair, whatever that is. It also said I had a cyst on my right ovary but they didn't remove it. now I understand that it obviously isn't a problem or they would have removed it, but still!! If you're already in there WHY would you leave it there? I don't want it there, I would been fine with having one ovary. Grrr.
Adenomyosis and something about squamous something, but not sure what any of that means. Again- guessing it's all fine, right?
A little miffed about the cyst, and weirded out about another procedure I wasn't aware of~ but apparently it was neccesary so I'm glad. Still, just wish I had known about it.

It had never even occured to me to get them, but someone mentioned it to me once and so I called the hospital to see if they could release them to me. The lady I psoke with said people get them all the time! I feel better when i know all I can know about something, so it was a good thing for me to read it. Now i'm jsut trying to find info on what it all means!! haha
I wish i had asked for other info as well... like comments from nurses, etc. but would I really want to read them? Probably not

O.K. how embarassing, but so funny. I have got to get my mindout of the female reproductive tract anatomy and back into the real world.

I was reading my mail today and thought I saw an add that said "grow your oun perineal" WHAT??? I can grow another? OH, upon closer examination it read "Grow your own perenneils" It actually was an add for flowers. Perenniels. So it seems I can't grow a new crotch after all. go figure.....

IMG420, of course you are invited. We would never leave anyone out. Whoever can make it, the more the merrier. I too hope we all keep in touch.

To our friends in England, I was there many years ago, I backpacked through Europe for about 5 weeks and spent about 6 days in England. I loved your country and the countryside. Just wanted to let you know.

To everyone else, I am sad to say I just took a percocet. I guess I overdid it today. If we are suppose to be getting better then how come every time we start to do something we have more pain. This time it seems to be more on my lower right part of the abdomen. I was actually hoping to maybe call a friend to go to lunch today but I think I should listen to on the couch and stay home and rest. I think I will have to get that book mentioned earlier because I love to read and right now what better to read than something funny.

I know when I had mentioned this to Lainie about getting together she had mentioned half way which for Lainie, Caroline and myself would probably be the Delaware Water Gap (which I think would be about 20 minutes from us - but I might be wrong) but we would have to see who else could make it and where they are coming from.

Hope everyone has a great evening.
