The way I imagine the peeing issue -- it feels like my bladder used to rest up against by uterus and now it's just hanging with no support! Know idea if that has any basis in reality, but that's how I imagine it!

Back to work on Monday, but will be able to leave early as needed. Work has been very supportive, which I am so appreciative about. Feels kind of scaring and overwhelming to think about getting back in the swing of things. Not only the physical part and fatigue, but having to focus for a whole day -- I often now think about something i need to do (like send thank you cards for all the lovely flowers I've received) and I just don't want to do anything! It's made be start thinking about whether I could move to a 4-day workweek. I tend to get way too caught up in work and I have really let go of it while I've been out. Nice to think about a slower life style more focused on taking care of myself, seeing friends, doing things differently...

I have bouts of guilt and the "should do this, should do that", but with what energy I have, I'd rather read a good book or make banana bread -- until I realized we are out of sugar and I'll need to go to the store first! Ugh -- already went to the hardware store today and took my walk. How much can a person be expected to do in one day!!

The beaches of south walton county are really beautiful. It's about an hour away from Pensacola, maybe more like and hour and a half. the general area is growing so there is lots of construction, but if you go to places like seaside, seagrove, blue mountain beach- these are pretty much built as much as zoning allows. It's a stretch of about 15 minutes (with no traffic, which is RARE) and truly peaceful and beautiful.

Hi all ,

I had my four week PO visit today. No vaginal done. I'm doing well. The reason I have more discomfort on the right side of the incision is because that is where the doc tied off the sutures and "anchored" it. I'm still on restrictions for the next two weeks. I am allowed to walk more now, that's it. I go back in four weeks for my eight weeks PO visit and he said he will do a vaginal at that time to check the vaginal cuff etc. I am cleared to teach my seminar tomorrow, it will be all day. My husband is going to help me with set up etc. I know I will be tired after that.

I don't remember who mentioned the Thai exchange student, but it peeked my interest as my daughter is adopted from Thailand. She has been with us a little over two years and is seven years old.

Ya'll come on down to Florida to thaw out. I would be happy to see you. The Gulf Coast is definately better that the Atlantic as far as the beaches go. We are actually going to Disney in a couple of weeks for a change of scenery. My husband will take our daughter to the parks and I will relax around the resort. Looking forward to it.

Have a great day!

Good afternoon, ladies.

For those of you who are still having the painful bladder issue...I had that too and never thought I would get back to normal, but have to say that it really hasn't bothered me the past few days. Hopefully, it will be the same for you and any day now you'll feel better.

I have a question for the gals from the UK. One of my favorite shows is "Keeping Up Appearances". The character, Onslow, is always asking his wife to make him a bacon botti(sp?). What the heck is that?

Img,
I don't know what he "anchored". I didn't ask. Remember I'm the one with the visual images that every time VP or the like is mentioned. Hmmm...good question though.

FF,
That is so cool. My daughter was born in Bangkok, we spent two weeks there two years ago. We plan to go back to Thailand for a visit when our daughter gets older. We loved it there.

It's really a small world.
