That's what's happened to me. A Wed. I did some cleaning and I have been swollen and sore the last two days. And I had been feeling so good. Haven't noticed the hair falling out but I do feel like I have more gray!!

Princess 48: Don't feel bad. We've all done it - done too much and then later regretted it. Your brain is telling you to do things your body isn't capable of yet. Chalk it up to experience, get lots of rest tomorrow, and don't beat yourself up. Heal well!

Please don't tell me your hair falls out from the trauma of surgery. A few months before surgery I started loosing hair. In fact one day I was drying my hair and trying to pull my bangs down and they weren't there.Honestly. They are growing back and are now an inch or two long( :confuse: not exactly a cute look on a 46 yr old) I also still have this bulge over my incision going from hip to hip. It's like an alien is living under my skin. Will this ever go away. :wowee:

I know I am not the only one feeling this way but it is so frustrating to start to feel just a little bit better and then get worse. At 4 weeks plus post op I truly thought I would be doing so much better than I am. I finally started to feel a little better Wed, did just some light stuff in the house and yesterday had my dr's appointment. My dh took me and then we went to K=mart for maybe 1/2 hour at the most and then to eat lunch. Since then I am hurting and back to taking the percocet during the day. This stinks. I am so sorry for griping but I have literally done nothing today. Thanks for listening or I should say reading

I have the bulge but it only becomes one bulge when I've done too much. Each swollen spot on each side above the incision were both getting smaller. I'm just hoping to wake up and poof! have them gone. You know maybe there's a swelly belly fairy (sorta like the tooth fairy, but not). I'll have to put my belly under a pillow tonight and see what happens

you shouldn't make me laugh like that it hurts, but you are too funny I also think the bulge will magically go away. Everytime I go to the bathroom I look down, but it's still there I'm also going to put my belly under a pillow tonight. Oh, my dh would love that. He'd think I've definately finally lost it Keep up the humor It helps.

Here's a tip: DO NOT get down on hardwood floors to play.
I did and gracious it hurts now!!!!! I couldn't sit on the kids mini wood chairs, it was too hard and uncomfortable, so I got down on the floor and played for a bit. For some reason i didn't think hardwood floors would hurt more than the wood chairs? anyway, that got to hurting, so I laid on my side- another real smart move. then I dragged the gym mat over and sat/laid on that to play. OUCH. so now here i am, aching and hurting and swollen. And my shooshee hurts!! it feels like I have a weight between my legs and AAAAAAAARRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH. i'm miserable. And I only played for a short time!!! WHEN DOES IT END?????

Hi crikeycroc. I had my surgery same day. My incision also opened and became infected. Fortunately after following docs orders it has almost healed and I didn't end up with the urinary infection so feeling better. Hang in there. We're all pulling for you.

After reading about y'all experiences, I feel so lucky to have had LSH! Sorry to be so happy, but I feel like my old self minus the cramps, pains shooting down my legs at ovulation, and of obviously no period! I hope y'all feel better soon!

BTW~The Prempro is working now and I am not having anymore hot flashes or night sweats! I am also sleeping through the night and I've lost weight! I still get tired easily, but that could be because I have a 3 and 1/2 year old. Good luck to all! Elizabeth
