Thanks for all your thoughts & prayers!!!!

Hi! Hyster Sisters, First wanted to thank all for your help, advice and prayers thru my surgery. Everything went well, until 5 days post op back in emergency, I had brought up blood, my Dr. Thought I had thrown a blood clot. A cat scan showed I had the beginings up pnenmonia, (That was worst than the hystercomy). Now 6 weeks later, my Dr. sends me to a lung specialst because the pnenmonia is not clearing up as fast as it should, he is concerned that I also had thrown a blood clot initally and don't have pnenmonia and has scheduled me for a nucleaur lung scan (now I am terrified!). I had 2 very special friends who were diganosed with pnenmonia and ended up it was covering up cancer, they are now in heaven hopefully watching over me. I feel so much better (better than I have in years) since the hysterecomy. Its hard to explain but I felt better in the hospital when I woke up, I have had no problems with hormones, everything has been great except this problem!!! I am so afraid they are going to find some cancer. Please say a little prayer for me.

Thanks for all your thoughts & prayers!!!!

I am so happy that you are recovering well from your hysterectomy, but how frightened you must be about this lung thing. Hopefully it is just a slow-resolving pneumonia and it will go away with the right medication, lots of rest and good nutrition. May God bless you with health and peace of mind. Let us know how you are doing.

Hi !!!

So glad to hear you are feeling so good after your hysterectomy!! Wow, and to be feeling better as soon as you woke up! You must be a good healer with a high pain tolerance !

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that this lung condition is nothing serious.

Sending lots of hugs!
Maria

Thanks for all your thoughts & prayers!!!!

Hi!

I'm so glad you've been feeling so good since your surgery. I'll be adding my prayers to the rest of the ladies and hope the problems with the pneumonia will clear up quickly and be nothing to worry about.

I really feel for you, I know how frustrating not to mention painful that can be. I had some fluid build up in my lungs after completing my first round of chemo and it scared the dickens out of me. Mine was a bit different so, after getting the fluid drained and switching to a different antibiotic, it did however get cleared up which made breathing a whole lot easier!

I wanted to let you know, the lung scan was easy and pain free. Its was pretty much like the MRI I had done prior to surgery. They took some views without the contrast, then added the contrast and took some additional views.

Please let us know how everything turns out. I'll be holding you in our prayers that you receive some good news. Take care of yourself in the meantime, try to relax and think positively.

Big {{hugs}} for you!

Vicki
