Aunt Flo's Last Visit!!!!

Hi, girls. This thread has made my day a little brighter. I will be at the castle in just under a week. Aunt Flo decided she had to visit me first, of course. I don't mind too much because it may keep me from second guessing myself.

Is there anyone still hanging around this thread? I just noticed that you hadn't written anything in over a month. In any case, Thanks.

so proud of you princesses!!!!

heres a big to all of you have now joined us in the castle visit and are reigning princesses!

i had my visit on feb 21st. i now feel great!
i still get a bit teary as i walk down "that" aisle at the supermarket to now get to the toiletpaper and a friend has just had a new baby and while i was so happy for her i also grieved for myself and the loss of my fertility. i still feel weird knowing that i cant have more babies and those who dont know me on the street have no idea..... but im getting used to the idea.

the aftermath of the surgery was for me pretty easy if you read back thru the old threads, and now i really feel great, no moods, headaches and im getting some colour back!

i miss being on here but have got so busy, i hope you are all well!

im also so pleased to have slammed that door on auntie flo!!! i have no messy undies or pajamas, no tampons, pads or drugs in the house!!! however it is only 5-6 years till it comes back for my daughter! poor thing!

ps for those of us who worried about our night time marital relations...i can tell you that for me ITS GREAT!!!

Aunt Flo's Last Visit!!!!

OK...dr said on my 6 wk check up that for 4 more wks i was to not lift over 10 pounds and that i couldnt begin doing exercise aside from walking 30-60 min a day for 4 more wks either. the nighttime activities have returned and are awesome here too :-)
I just noticed that about 2 wks ago this is what i did for the weekend and it was a BIT MUCH given it was my additional 4 wks were not quite up yet....I pressure washed my deck for over an hour, helped DH lift an 80pound grill out of the back of our truck, vacuumed a floor and swept and mopped 4 other floors, did the grocery shopping by myself and brought it home and put it all away by myself, did 4 loads of laundry and did some dusting as well.....A BIT MUCH to do in one weekend (most of it was done in one day) and being only about 10 wks post op.....i was sore for the nxt 3 days! SO i decided to not do ALL that stuff in one weekend. I could do 3 floors instead of 5 and DH has begun going to the store wiht me and brings in the food and i help put it away. My DD has done more of the deck since mom cant do so much of it and I am not lifting anything over around 20-25 pounds currently.
I do not return to the dr til next april for a regular check up barring any complications but i have been told it takes several months to completely recover and actually a full year for the body to completely heal. I still get overly tired when i do too much and thats just the bodys way of sayin slow down. BUT FOR THE MOST PART....I DO WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT and suffer no consequences and feel great. LOVING the new WHITE shorts and capris i bought and really loving the going "camando" at bed what a difference letting things "Breathe" versus cooped up in panties and pads all night long LOL

Blessings to you all.....Hey Caz great to "read" you! Glad you are doing well also. I too have been WAY busy...doing some landscaping and outdoor renovations the past couple months and so i havent had much computer time either!

Take care

Aunt Flo's Last Visit!!!!

Thanks for the post on what to expect when. Do you happen to ride horses or know any sisters who do? When do you think that would be allowed? I've loaned my horse to a friend for the summer and he's willing to buy. If it will be a year before that's really safe, I may as well sell him and get another next spring. (This one is a bit of a challenge; more than I am up for when 100% to tell the truth.)
