Aunt Flo's Last Visit!!!!

Glad to hear that you are home. Make sure you get lots of rest (with your boots on) lots of water, and just take care of yourself. You are a precious princess. Pray you have a speedy recovery!!! And Aunt Flo has lost her key to the house.

Aunt Flo's Last Visit!!!!

Thanks ladies! I am resting, (so much that my tailbone is VERY offended with me!) drinking tons (therefore I'm peeing tons! ), and taking wee walks around the house (inside not out!)....and if they called and offered me one more night in the hospital, I'd be back in a hot second! I miss that glorious adjustable bed!!! I know tomorrow will be much better though, so I'm glad I have you great gals to distract and encourage me in the meantime!
Many heartfelt s to you all,
Janice

ps...try to get a mental picture of this...a short rather fluffy lady with major swelly belly and bed hair doing the surgical shuffle around the living room wearing Aunt Flo kicking boots and dragging no less than 8 pillows of various sizes in her wake! ....is anyone else just a little creeped out?

Aunt Flo's Last Visit!!!!

Hi Janice
Keep resting, less shuffling and no dragging pillows. I have a visitor coming today and have had to have a word with myself when I passed a mirror this morning. I was shocked to see a Casper-the-friendly-ghost-like figure (much less cute) in husband's old white teeshirt, skanky sarong, bed hair etc etc. I promptly gave myself a mini-makeover and then gave Uncle Con(stipation) his exit pass to please go and cause bloackages elsewhere. Now I look too good and not ill at all!! I was hoping friend would do some housework for me but she is bound to think I am faking. Any tips Princesses? Or do I have to get the old haunting tshirt back on and muss up the hair?!

Aunt Flo's Last Visit!!!!

ok ladies, u have me lmao, and it HURTS!!!!....I have to tell ya, when we left the hospital i had no idea how aweful i looked. We had a 45 minute ride home, and I went to bathroom when we got home, looked in the mirror and almost had a heart attack. My poor poor husband. He had to look at me like that, for the entire car ride. I hope nobody was watching us...lol. Talk about Bed-Head...ewwwww, I had hair going every which way, except the right way. First thing I asked him to do after looking in the mirror, was PLEASE wash my hair in the sink!!!!...He did, thats why i love him....lol. Anyways, so glad to here your back Janice. Now, my pillow is calling me, and my big ole swelly belly is really hurting tonight, so i think i'm gonna go get some rest. Good night gals, and keep the laughs coming!

Aunt Flo's Last Visit!!!!

I had to ride for 2 1/2 hours home and I knew what I looked like, it was awful!!! I usually have fluffy curly hair, but it was absoluely slicked down flat and felt gross. Big time bed head. I really did not want anyone to see me. And I felt so bad when I got home that I did not take a shower till the next day. Okay this was not funny.

Hello! Hope all is well with you and that you're off to a speedy recovery!! I seen that you kept your left ovary and I am as well. I'm curious if it will produce enough estrogen to not need hormone therapy. So keep us posted on your progress and I'll know what to expect!
