Where do you buy these? I'm looking all over the Web and all I an find are low-rise bikinis, boyshorts, G-strings, and thongs. Will the high-rise cotton briefs at the Gap or at Victoria's Secret (2 sizes larger than what I normally wear) serve the same purpose? How many pairs do you think I should get? How soon after the operation do you think I can return to my regular bikini bottoms?

Thank you!

Practically every department store carries cotton briefs, WalMart etc.

I still hate wearing any underwear or anything tight and confineing. Seams bother the heck out of me. I sometimes at home wear my sweats inside out. Good Luck.

of course all my work was done vaginaly but I just wore those sexy(lol) fish net panties from the castle. I came home with 4 pair of them and my DH washed them, so it was fine. I hate those granny panties.

Sears also carries them and the ones I am using are made by Hanes. They are 100% cotton and very comfortable. I have a bikini incision and it hurts and irritates my incision to have anything leaning on it. Each person is different and you should decide for yourself how long you need to wear them for.

I'm a plus size and have been wearing the stretchy panties from Just My Size for awhile -- I really like them because they don't roll down and are very comfy. I buy mine at Walmart or Target.

Grannie Panties is only really a fun description for extra-large panties, with elastic around the waist! But they were lovely and comfy!

Someone here recommended ladies "boy shorts" so I bought both those and the large cotton briefs. The briefs remained untouched and the "boy shorts" were sooooo comfortable that I still sleep in them 6 weeks later and plan to buy more in my post-surgery size. They can be found at Wal-Mart or Target by several different companies. I did turn them insdie out so the seam didn't bother me but I love them!

I dont' know if they still make them, but my mother used to swear by "Lovepats". She used to buy them at Wal-Mart. When they're fresh out of the wash, they shrink up like pantyhose, but when you put them on, they stretch around the most swollen tummies and don't cause that roll around your middle. Does anyone know if these are still made?

I bought my "granny panties" today at Target: Hanes Her Way Cotton Briefs (6pk). I usually wear a 7, so I picked up size 9. Was bummed they didn't have cute colored ones in my size, so had to settle for white
