The mountains are so crisp and refreshing as well.

Thanx for inquring! I did not read your profile before writing so forgive me..I just thought I'd write a quickie.

Hoping all is well for you! It will be beautiful tomorrow would love to be out in it! y me
I grew up in Aurora. Went to Overland HS (Cherry Creek Schools. One scary thing, I used to go to track meets and other activities at Columbine HS). I've been in Texas since '93 when I came here for college. I moved around a bit after '96 back to CO and then to Seattle for awhile, then came back to CO, and then to Dallas area when my DH and I got married. We like TX, but we both grew up near the mountains, so we miss the nature. We thought breifly about moving back, but it so expensive to live there now. The same size house we have here in TX would cost us double in Colorado. Maybe one day though! So gald you joined us. Hope you're doing well!

Ibeshoppin - gald to hear you survived this weekend! I've been experiencing the dryness too, espc. during sex. We never had a problem before, but I guess we are going to have to invest in some luberication now! I wonder if it temporary??

Anglika - I'm glad your dr. said you didn't have to worry! I hope you are feeling better. That would scare me too.

Zucru4 - I'm gald you made it back to your business ok. I know this site has been a huge blessing to me as well. I don't know how I would have survived all this wihthout everyone's support.

I love listening to all of you. I think I am the "old lady" of this group. I try not to comment to much as I feel guilty that I have not had near the problems that some you have had. All of my problems are due to stupid falls that reaked havoc on my mouth and jaw. I had a TVH and a bladder repair (sling). The TVH was great. I had to go back into surgery for the sling as the mesh or tape did not work. I had that repaired and all is well. I go back to the urologist on Thursday for a 2nd follow up!!!! I do not go back to the OBGYN until July for a 6 month checkup. I hope all of you get over the humps and can return to a "normal" life. As I stated, if it were not for a stupid fall on my part I would be doing great! Have a great rest of the week. Tomorrow is Wednesday, hump day. only 3 more days until Friday!! and only 5 more weeks of school!

Teacher 30. my parents lived in Golden and now live in Lakewood. I want to retire and move out to Colorado. I want to live west of Denver. I am looking in Morrison, Golden, Lakewood area. However, the cost of living is much better in Texas. I do hate the heat.

in regular pain still???

ok ya'll, I'm getting a little impatient with my dear old body here. I'm still in enough pain by around 2:00pm every day that I have to take a mega dose of Ibufropen (600 - 800 mg) to get through the rest of the day, and the pain is even waking me up in the middle of the night and I have to take more. I've been on so much Ibuprofen for the pas 6 mos. it is really starting to do a job on my stomach. It starts to hurt now when I take it. The pain feels like sharp cramping and aching. And I'm still so tired! Is anyone else still having pain on an every day basis like this??? I try to ingnore the pain for as long as I can, but it is with me every day still. I would have though that by 9 weeks, it would be mostly just the tiredness to deal with and occasional pain if I overdid something. My dr. says to give it six mos. before we determine if the endo has returned, so I"m trying not to be paranoid.

I love Golden. I used to drive out to the courthouse they built there when I worked for a title company there. I would love to move there someday too, but like you said, the cost of living in Texas is just too much better for now. Have you ever been out to Brighton? My grandparents grew up there. It is the most beautiful drive! Oh, I miss the mountains and blue skys just thinking about it!!

I'm gald to hear that you are recovering well. I think you have been through a lot!! How is school going? We've only got 3 1/2 weeks left now. I can't wait till the summer to just sleep as much as I want. =)

Teacher30,I have driven through Brighton and that is it. I am teaching summer school as I need the extra money to travel to see my son who is stationed in San Diego and then to go see my folks and relatives who live in Colorado. I need a new roof but my travel is more important at this time of my life. I have lost track of time but I think we have 4 weeks left of regular school. the clouds are great in Colorado if you have ever seen them. Once you see the clouds against the blue skys that is what you remember about Colorado! well, the mountains also but the big white puffy clouds are amazing.

Teacher30- Wow girl that is quite a bit of pain medication! I'm sorry to tell you, I feel really guilty, but I'm not in any pain. I have a tug once in while, but not enough to really care about it. I'm worried that you may have to return for more care. I hope not. I don't think you are over doing it. IF anyone would be-it's me. I cycled a total of 40 miles and ran 20 miles. It did hurt at first, the sit-ups were killers. But the only thing that hurts this week are my calves, please keep bugging your doc. They hear you for about 10 minutes and then off to the next patient.

I am soooo happy with the surgery. I have NEVER had pain free sex, and I m 39 years old. Each time I just waited for the "punch in the stomach" feeling to happen afterwards. It was either that or the knife slicing through me. Holy cow ladies...we are very STRONG women! I can't wait to get on with my life. I hope that the pain heals quickly with everyone-I want you all to feel as good as I do.

Hi dear sisters..and I do think of you all like that!
What a bond we share , it is really special.
viteacher-I like to think we are all ageless on this site!(although I can tell that I am at the upper end of the spectrum)
teacher30-I am so sorry to hear you are having such pain issues. Please check in with your doc if it isn't better. The fatigue is still bothering me too and work has been nonstop. The last few nights sleep has been not so great too which worried me a bit. Last night DH snored all night-yikes I thought I'd never get enough sleep to go to work. I really don't want to sleep in another room but I came close to that.

Got some "bummer" news this afternoon when I went for my GI MD appt. I have to have my gall bladder out. They found a polyp about a year ago and while I was on my post op leave I had my 1 year follow up scan just to make sure it hadn't gotten bigger-the GI hadn't even thought it was really necessary. I hadn't heard from the MD so I went in today for the results. I was so shocked to hear it has doubled in size and the surgery has to be done. I will call the surgeon tomorrow to see him. I so dread more anesthesia and the recovery from that. The surgery should be the laparoscopic kind so I hear that goes well, fast recovery(oh yeah didn't people say that about the vag hyst???) I also dread telling my boss. I am just getting caught up at work , I hope I will only be out a week or so. I am going to wait to say anything at work until after I see the surgeon.
DH is having eye surgery in May-what an interesting year this is turning out to be(and expensive-even with good insurance)I have to remember that we have had remarkably excellent health and these are just procedures and in a couple months it will all be behind me/us.

Well, it's been a long day.
Take care everyone!

Good morning girls,

Thanks for your comforting words Ibeshoppin...that meant a lot to me.

I woke up this morning and the pain is so much better I do not have the need to take painkillers today, even though I got back into work yesterday. I am just so relieved....it really was very painful and my whole stomach was so swollen from the breast area downwards. I cannot believe it is all okay now. It just goes to show what happens when one has not been using any of the stomach muscles for several weeks. I am so happy I just want to celebrate...was so scared I had done something serious. I shall be planting some trees and shrubs in the garden today and order 3 or 4 ton bales of stones as well. There is so much to do but I love it.

Hope you are all okay...thinking of you.

Take care,

Love and hugs

Angelika
