Yeah...the only "plus 5" pain I've had on the pain scale came after my 4 week check up. Yuck. And ouch...

This sounds like getting vaccinations for my dd & ds - always gave the tylenol or advil just before the shot. I think I'll put a percoset in my purse - I also am pretty sure I now have an infection on my incision. I was hoping it was just sore - oh well. On a happy note - there is another driver in the family - dd passed her exam today :
Good night sleep to all

I had my 6week post-op visit yesterday and am feeling pain. I havent had pain in a few weeks, but after my visit I am experiencing slight pain last night and today. I will go home and get some extra rest tonight in hopes of bouncing back.

Hi all, I had my post op appt today and was cleared to do whatever I did before, even golf! My doc was very gentle and careful so it wasn't bad at all. He did push on my swellybelly which wasn't too great but overall it went well. I started on premarin 0.625 a couple weeks ago and still have night sweats, doc says it takes a good while for them to subside altogether.
Hope everyone is well.

Well I got good news at my appointment with doctor on Thursday, infection has cleared and everything seems to be healing so that's a relief. It's great to start to feel alot better, funny enough you do not realise how awful things were until it's all gone I guess it just sneaks up on us. People keep telling me how well I am looking which makes a lovely change from the you look awful I used to get. Go back to work next Wednesday not full days tho only for four hours a day. Went into work on Thursday after appointment and everyone was pleased to see me which is really nice.I have had really great support from all my friends, some family as well as work mates. I would like to say I am so grateful for this site and the support it has given me cannot thank you all enough . Just looking ahead now and taking one day at a time as I know my body still has healing to do as I still get tired but I know now that things are definately on the right path . Hope everyone is doing well and take care.

Hi all
My real 6 week is on Monday - this was my oops but I did see another practioner and got placed on antibiotics - think that maybe that reaction I had earlier has now moved to the incision - oh well the antibiotics are helping. Glad to hear so many are doing well - enjoy the weekend

In the beginning I had mild night sweats as well. Then I started taking my Premarin right before bed. No more night sweats! I hope this helps.

I am still taking Prenatals and Premarin, isn't that an oxymoron!!

I also had my surgery February 13th. I will be seeing my Gyno on Wednesday. I'm not on anything yet but my hot flashes are crazy. Good to know the Premarin is working for you. Not sure what the prenatals are? Good to hear there is hope for a normal life again. I'm still in some pain and can't sleep at night.
Hope I have the same results as you.

5 week post-op

It's been a couple weeks since my last post about BAD daily migraines. My GYN put me on Vivelle .01 patches. They are working pretty well as I've only had a couple migraines since. No more night sweats or hot flashes like I was experiencing pre-op when I was on Dupro-Lupron. Going for my 6 week ck next Friday. I'm sure he will release me to go back to work. I'm really enjoying my time at home. Have always been a working Mom (not by choice) so it's been great to see how the "other half" lives. My family is getting spoiled that I'm cooking dinner every nite!

Hawaii
I think the prenatal's are a reference to prenatal vitamins - So far I haven't had a lot of migraines - but my husband says I am now spinning like a top at night - hot nights and hot days.... is here pretty often
Hope you are having a good saturday
