Hi everyone!
Back home finally, I was in hospital for 3 1/2 days! whew! was I ready to come home! Went pretty good, had alot of nausea though, but once I started eating better it went away. not much pain, just sore down there. I loved the card hyster sisters sent me! Thank you!
I hope everyone recovers fast and feels better soon.
Lots o' love, Patsy

ROFL... I know what you mean. I keep telling my dh I feel like the Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz. "If I only had a brain..."

My dh 'gets it' when I tell him that I'm working on 80% -- my brain is almost back. Sometimes it goes to 90%-- lol

My LSH was on March 7th... Today we went to Sea World! I walked slow, but it was so nice to get out of the house.
Motrin 800 has worked wonders.

oh wowe :grr:

I'm so glad for this forum! It is great reading what my fellow hystersisters are experiencing.
I'm in full blown misery!! I guess it will take its course, I don't know which of the meds at this point that I am allergic to but the ole body is fighting with something?! I feel like such a loser, between the abdominal pain, head cold gone to chest therefore intense cough, skin rash in full spread and foggy brain (I'm convinced they did a partial lobotomy on me while I was out). I'm lying here giving thanks that my finger nails and teeth don't hurt.
My cats are sick of me complaining so thanks to you all for this large pity pot massage board.
PS my husband just got back from a business trip and he can't wait to go run errands?? What aren't I attractive honey???

Oh man, Fiona--recovering with a rash AND a cold? I'd be a mess! I am doing better than I expected. Not a lot of pain--motrin during the day and darvocet at night. I have had a couple of bad days and having each BM is still an adventure, but other than that, I am recovering nicely. I am doing nothing but sitting watching tv and reading and taking short walks. It's getting very boring, but my warden, I mean my DH, is not letting me do anything else! It is a beautiful day here in Burbank and I hope to take a nice walk outside after lunch.

Fiona- I lost my brain, but it's slowly coming back. The only thing I can take is Motrin 800mg.
I can't imagine having a cold... that would just make me grumpy.

Right now I almost feel NORMAL. Major difference since yesterday and the day before. I couldn't tell ya'll how depressed I was getting because I never thought I would be 'normal' again.

I'm just looking forward to going to Target by myself.

I HAD to go get my Jury Duty notarized. I have jury duty next week. Since I haven't checked my mail in forever-- First, I don't think I could drive where it's at, second I still have my 3 yr old. It was my 3 yr old that gave me a 'valid' reason.
This has been my 4th notice in 10 yrs. UGH

Seems like I am on the same time table. Yesterday I was depressed, and shaking with anxiety. Today I feel much better, but I still have a difficult time sitting. Walking and semi-reclining is all I can do. I actually could read and knit and did not have to blankly stare at the tv!

I am trying to put the belly band back on to see if it helps tomorrow.

It is snowing and ice storm here, and unfortunately today was the day I was hoping to get out of the house... oh well, maybe a few more days, UGH! I

I am looking forward to Monday, I am going to try to drive my daughter to school!

Sisters~
The time has come...as of my 1 week appointment. Night sweats subsided and hormonally stable...even considering my stress!
I have not rested. I have broken all the rules except vacuuming. No meds needed pain minimal to none...kinda busy to think about it!! Back on the back burner for a while!!
DH decided he'd have chest discomfort and after the 2nd ER visit he was admitted (after his blood levels showed damage)last night and was in surgery today. He sustained a heart attack. UGH....42 years young! Diet was the main issue and he's not overweight!
Anyway...have been bad to myself, no resting and no princess pampering except the first week. Back to being a loyal wife and mommy.
Thanks for being there!! XO

wow summerstar....prayers are going up for your dh....
i keep thinking to myself when my dd goes outside, is she going to be ok is she gonna get hurt am i gonna have to make an ER trip...omg what will that do for my recovery? I gotta stop worrying like that. I too am on very little pain meds. have done some bending, but its more like squatting....but not much. am taking showers unsupervised and getting dressed alone. almost tempted to drive my self to the grocery store. DH was sposed to take me but he came home from 3rd shift and fell asleep...grrrrrrrrrrrrr i want out of this house and off of my street. LOL
oh well. I am glad i seem to be healing and recovering better than i truly expected. anyway..have a great day a great weekend and Summerstar...you and your dh are in my prayers. God be with you and strengthen and touch both of your bodies.
