I have also found oatmeal works at getting the plumbing going in the morning - yogurt seems to work pretty good as well.

Wishing you all a great day and that you feel better with each sunrise !

I should clarify...I'm not constipated...my stools are soft they just don't move along the pipes as fast as I think they should or notify me they are ready to exit. Was that delicately put? I tried not to be too graphic...LOL I am hoping this Milk of Magnesia works because I am getting to the point where I am tempted to use the fleet saline laxative I used the day before surgery...now that stuff works...LOL

Dear heavenly father, let this phase pass...SOON!

Mighty13--
I am on my second antibiotic for a urinary infection. They can perscribe a med that helps with the urination pain and spasms. I would definitely ask for it --it works. It makes your pee turn blue! lol

Ok. After all that has gone on...I have been walking and doing great.
This morning, woke and went about my morning. Was on the phone, got off and noticed my underwear and jammies were soaked.
It could be discharge but had no color. I think it was urine. Not a sign of it happening. Incontinence? UGH!! NO WAY, I'm only 36. Anyone else with this or know of anyone! Will call the doc but would like advice first!!
Thanks!! CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!

SUCCESS!! Nothing feels so sweet as success...I now worship the blue bottle... LOL (To avoid repeating TMI, check my posts from yesterday. )

Summerstar, I can only guess along with you but if it is a one time incident, I wouldn't worry. If it happens again or you notice any leaking, call your doctor. Where you laughing a lot on that phone call? LOL

I ended up in the ER last night...pain in my leg turned out to be DVT or bloodclots...geez. Went to 3 week Dr. dh went with, ok'd me for everything including sex if I want...dh smiled at the news...i told him nope not at this time afraid its gonna hurt...cleared for work no limitations not even lifting, but now I have to wait till bloodclots are cleared and another doppler is taken of my legs... lucky me I have them in both legs..so back in bed I am with compresses and elevated legs...

Hello Hyster Sister Friends :- )

Hi Ladies:

Like a lot of you, I have been having good and bad days. I thought for sure I would be much more active by now. On Tuesday I actually did some shopping and laundry. I ended up ripping a stitch, or the end of the incision and it was very scary!! There was only about a teaspoon of blood, but I was afraid I would have to go back to the castle. I called the doc. office and they said it sounded o.k., that I have to stay off my feet and not lift anything. It has been 3 weeks tomorrow!!! I am soooo frustrated. I see my doctor on Tuesday. I was suppose to go back to work on 4/9, however, I think I will need more time. Worry about the job, but what can you do? Well, thanks for letting me tell my story, I hope all is well with everyone. I will check in again soon. - Delsina

I meant to mention earlier that I too have been experiencing tailbone and hip pain. I am sure it is the position they had my legs in during surgery because the pain has pretty much been with me since then. The first few days it was like walking on someone else's legs. Today the hip pain has been the worse. Walking aggrevated it considerably. I guess I will go to the chiro in a couple weeks to get myself realigned. I can't wait for the popping...
