3d - As far as the colonoscopy goes...get it over with you'll be glad you did...then you can get on with your life with less dr burdens on your shoulders.
Had doppler on my legs today...dvt's starting to resolve cleared to go to work on monday... I still have to take 4 aspirin a day for at least the next 12 weeks, but at least they upgraded my prilosec to protonix...aspirin too harsh for stomach... told the dr that my dvt's will be cleared up but then i'll have a raging ulcer from the aspirin..
As far the sex issue goes we tried, it started to burn after awhile and I called it quits...too afraid with stitches still in there..we are suppose to go out of town on the 14th of this month, so maybe after some boozin and dancing (maybe) i'll be more relaxed...
I'm glad to hear everyone is feeling better...getting back to normal is within my sights now...

hey thanx!

I just hate to do this so soon to hyster....I don't remember a thing from the last one. I can't even remember the doc's name--don't even know who to call to set it up and the clock is tickin'!
I just don't know how very important it is to NOT do it right now, I didn't go for the post op check up to get details and print out so I don't know what he found and why the repeat is necessary outside the polyps!
Ya'll are fantastic!
Can you imagine me going from one surgery to another? I have met my deductible and well, you know how amazing that is these days?
I just had a tonsillectomy in November! Goodness gracious! Am I wierd or what?
(don't answer that!!!!!) hehehehe!
bye for now....going to entertain! y me

3d- here's a thought check with your dr and see if they can do a CT colonoscopy. This is a fairly new procedure I think we have only done 3-4 in a years time (I'm a CT tech), but it only takes 5 minutes and is the same as having a regular colonoscopy. If you had CT's before the whole thing is about the same....you drink the barium, you do still have the prep that cleans you out and you get scanned. It's very noninvasive and this might be the way to do it without having to go through the anxiety of having the traditional way...insurances are now starting to cover this procedure...check it out...I'll get you more info about it if you need it...

3d-doing great today ...don't worry so much about the dr. make sure you can find an imaging center or hospital outpatient center that offers the scan and whose scanner has the capabilities. The radiologist read these so even a general practice dr could order this test. so look for centers that offer "virtual colonoscopy"..if you need help finding one let me know and i'll see if i can find one in your area for you...

lil g

You know, I googled and came up with some issues re: the "mesh implants and Pain" but I am not sure of the procedure or where they are located therefore I was afraid to take it all as "possibility" for you as it did seem interesting and possibly a cause of your pain.
So, in saying this, I am more curious as to all the details and/or I will locate the possibilites for your situation and then you can make an educated decision!
What do you think about that? This is one of my hobbies so ..don't mind atall!
How is the pain today any change? Have you been able to have a level (1-10) and keeping up with differences?
Let me know and I will be researching...until then....
y me!

Most of the time the pain is 5 or less. Sometimes at nite it is 6 or 7. When I ride in the car it is worse. But I really hurt if i try to drive myself. The mesh implants are in the anterior and posterior walls. Thank you for your help. I'm not really good at researching on the net yet.
