Well, can you believe we made it to this point? Congratulations ladies!!!!!!!!

Is anyone a work-at-home person? Homeschooler? I do both of those things and have been juggling and struggling for a couple of weeks. I panic sometimes because if I don't hustle work, the bills won't get paid (I know this is the truth with everyone). There is no paid time off.

All the VERY BEST to all of my hystersisters!

I am a stay a home mom but not a home schooler. I am probably going to work at the local middle school next year as a sub. The extra income is needed right now. My husband makes decent money but the cost of everything since the hurricanes has sky rocketed. Our house note alone went up $200 because of insurance.

Yes it does look indented and when any discomfort starts it usually from this point out. Does your incision site have a hard ball behind it yet??

bhiggins-
Yes I do have a hard ball behind the incision--what is that? Has your Dr talked to you about it being indented and the ball behind it?

adleger,
Going for last appointment this week. Let you know but this DR is a man of few words and everything is run of the course. He definitely has a male attitude.

Dr called and I am going in Thursday instead of next week. I want my release papers! I most want to know about that knot and indented incision. My luck he will tell me there is nothing he can do.

sorry i'm so late with my reply, but here it is...lol...i had my surgery on the 8th....had everything but the left ovary removed....the doctor said i had 2 cysts and a lesion on my right ovary and lots of scaring and endo on the right side, but all on the left was fine, so i got to keep it......i had a horrible time the first day....the morphine made me sick to my stomache and any time i tried to eat something and most of the time when i tried to sit up i either threw up or felt like i was going to.....not once did they think about changing it to something else, so i ate nothing but maybe a couple of bites of jello the first day, but most of the time i threw it up....the morphine didn't help the pain so i was sick and hurting......and uncomfortable.....had the foley going one way, the iv in my hand and the drain tube for my incisions......so i couldn't really get comfortable....i was only there for one night thank goodness, but the whole night i kept waking up almost every hour....the next day the nurse came in to take out all the wonderful things that were stuck in me....all except the iv......talk about pain....even childbirth wasn't as painful as when she pulled out all the packing in my vagina and the drain tube.......i never ever want to experience that again....after she took out the iv she brought me some pain med, don't memebr what it was at the moment but boy within an hour i was feeling just fine....got to eat solid food and then i went home.....i actually came back to work on the 21st, but was feeling just fine days after i got home.....i did have to remind myself several times that i had just had surgery and i needed to take it easy...i go in for my 6 week checkup tomorrow and i am so ready for her to tell me that i can sit in bath....i have missed my nice long bubble bath soaks so bad.....my boyfriend of course is ready as well, but i think we all know why that is....lol.....so there is my experience and i am so glad i won't have to go through it again
