I am like theragen and have not posted on this thread before. I have done very well with the post op stuff. I sneezed at almost week 3 and hurt something in my abdominal wall (not related to the surgery). They are still trying to figure that out. First they thought it was a hernia, now they think it is a tear of an abdominal muscle with a collection of blood in there. I had returned to work for 6 days, but the general surgery put me on "abdominal wall rest" which means staying in the recliner for a couple of more weeks. I am supposed to return to work on May 7. I had my CT scan today to get a "definite" diagnosis. I feel guilty for not being back at work, but at the same time it sure does hurt! All and all, I am very glad I did this surgery and would do it again! I have really enjoyed this web site, it offers a lot of support!

You bet!

eeee...I am so glad someone else mentioned the o---cuz it is sweeter than it was before and I didn't know it could get better or stronger or easier.....all of our DH's are probably in as much shock as we are.

I tell EVERYONE I am more of a woman now than I was before, my womanhood does nor did not lie in my uterus! What are people thinking anyway?

I am a little concerned regarding comments about not doing too much too soon due to everything falling down in there after having the uterus removed......those words were not told to me so that I could get a visual....they say your bladder and all will end up falling and then repair surgery is necessary...but would be unecessary if we took it easy and didn't overdue!

For me overdoing would be walking a distance any distance, I did walk once but didn't feel comfortable doing it again. I had the colonscope or should I say attempted scope and have hurt ever since and wish to goodness I hadn't of attempted such! I even told the nurse on Monday before....not a word!

I love my new me and had a long time friend in which I haven't talked to in a while tell me tonight that she loved the way I sounded as I seemed to be soooo much better.....I am so excited for all of us.....wow--who would of thought eh?

y almost.....me

Freedom, my hubby would agree on the tigher, but didn't notice any heat. Sounds like you got the deluxe package surgery with the heater installation

True, it is nice to be feeling so much better ~ this beautiful weather is helping!

Check in with you all again soon, enjoy the day!
