Hi Kimmie,

This thread is for recovery updates and not for questions about recovery. If you have any questions about your recovery, please start a new thread. This way you'll have the benefit of many members who are further post op than the members who post on this thread.

Please help. Do I have anything to worry about? Or should I just relax and wait to heal.
Hi Whymy,

As I mentioned in my post above to Kimmie, you need to start a new thread to ask questions about your recovery as this thread is a thread for updates only. I hope you feel better soon.

I had trouble getting relaxed for sleep last night even with the Excedrin PM -- I finally got up and had a bowl of cereal with plenty of Milk and fell right to sleep & slept all night.

I'm enjoying being at home for a while -- but's it's getting terribly boring! There are things to do, but I'm just not interested in them. Like I could be sewing a button on, or throwing clutter away, but I'm not doing it. I'm sitting on the PC instead. which is what I do at work.

koko1116 - I took Tylenol PM last night and all it made me was restless and gittery! I got up and had a small bowl of cereal, too! How funny is that? Like you, I'm climbing the walls due to boredom, but have no interest in doing anything - so I'm also glued to the computer in search of conversation........

I too was on Vivelle dot and also had a problem keeping them on. My dr. changed me to Estrace 2 mg and other than one terrible afternoon and night (night sweats, no sleep, tossing & turning) the next morning dose seemed to be the fix. Now only occasional spells. You might want to mention it to your dr. Best wishes!!

I hope you are feeling even better today ! ! ! I really like your frog story ... there are many (pre hyssisters) who could benefit from this! I can't explain how relieved I was to finally have the diagnosis to perform the TAH/BSO and removal of the cervix ...

I have almost no back pain and can't wait to ride my horse in another 10 weeks and see just how much better that is!

Enjoy our books and good weather ! Thank you for you !

good for you !!!! Take it easy yesterday I did a little too much and boy do I feel it today - it has taken me up until now to "wake up". its a hard thing to do - to just sit around and do nothing - cause we are women and we just dont do that - but this time you have to.

me too

Koko & Jazzy, I know what you mean about not interested in doing stuff. That's also a sign of depression. I don't feel depressed though so suspect it's still our bodies making us take it easy. On top of that I'm having trouble with the healing pulling on an old (4 yrs ago) hernia repair causing lots of specific site pain and a pulling sensation. Dr.s office thinks sutures are pulling on old adhesions. Nothing else to do but continue bed rest. Great!

Amazingly, I feel so rotten, I'm not getting too bored. Am catching up on lots of Star Trek in the afternoons though. My sisters and mom signed me for 2 free months of Netflix. Am looking forward to my first 3 movies sometime this week. Yay, something new to watch.

Hope all continue to feel better each day! LJC

Yeah, I do feel depressed, but in spurts, or maybe grieving, if that makes any sense. I made red velvet cupcakes and cleaned some dishes away. I have a movie on now, The New World, which is pretty good. My mother called to take me to lunch, but today I feel sore and so I declined and am still in my pjs. Even sitting here at the PC seems to bother my incision more today than it has before.
