Extremely tired and sore at lower stomach

I had my hysterectomy on 02/12/07 & got out of the hospital on 02/16/07. I am still feeling extremely tired and my lower stomach is still very sore. I am also nausea and having hot flashes; however, my ovaries were not removed. I was trying to find out if anyone else was feeling any of these symptoms.

Extremely tired and sore at lower stomach

I still have my left ovary, and that sucker is still on holiday, I think! I'm having wicked hot flashes, too, so you're definately not alone! The little bit of nausea I've had I've kinda chalked up to medication (ibuprofen, mostly) - are you eating something before you take your meds? That might help.

Extremely tired and sore at lower stomach

I'm experiencing some pretty wicked hot flashes and I'm 8 weeks out tomorrow and have both my ovaries!!!
My lower abdomen is still a little tender.I can rub my incision without any pain however if I push up against the sink I still feel some type of bruising.
They say that it takes up to 6 months before you have a day where you do not think of your hysterectomy and that it could take a year for your body to heal completely. With this kind of information you can rest assure that what you are feeling is quite normal but if it gets worse and you are concerned in any way call your dr.

Happy healing to you and take care.

Extremely tired and sore at lower stomach

I still have belly soreness, especially when I'm overdoing it. I also still get tired quicker. I think it's gonna be a while before we feel back to normal, or better than normal, really, now that we don't have all the bleeding and cramping to deal with anymore.

Thank You

I would like to thank everyone that replied to my thread. It made me feel better knowing that someone else knows what I'm going through without thinking that I'm crazy or something. I did go to my doctor on yesterday, 03/15/07. She states that a lot of my problems come from being a type 1 diabetic.
