Wow, thanks to all of you that posted advice and then concern for me over the last couple days! I did go to the hospital, and it was a good thing. I had to be restitched vaginally and cauterized a few areas elsewhere. I had gotten anemic, and was beginning to get an infection as well. I was kept overnite and then released home to bedrest and went this mornning to be checked. I am doing much better, still on mostly bedrest to give this all time to heal. All of this will set me back a few more weeks on recovery, and that is very disappointing. But I am so glad to have it all repaired and on my way! Thanks again, I was AMAZED at all the posts with concern for me! My husband couldn't believe it! You guys are great! Hope everyone is doing well today! I'll check back on here later, I can only stay at the computer for a few minutes here and there! Back to the couch!

Hello everyone...I hope you are having a good day.

Goergiascuba23...thanks for the good info. Prior to my surgery, the doc was unable to determine via sonogram if I had a cyst on my left ovary. I was feeling a lot of pain there, so I knew something was up. Come to find out, that there actually was a cyst and he drained it as part of the procedure. However, even though the nurses and doc were great in my pre and post op care, noone told me that I would experience hot flashes and nite sweats. I am only 35, so I never had one before and thought it was a reaction to pain meds. It wasn't until i found this website that I realized that what I was feeling was normal. I think that some of the new pains some of us are experiencing are due to "healing" and nerve regeneration...or at least I hope thats what it is. But, it sure is hard to feel great one day and lousy the next. It gets depressing and I am starting to get cranky

J9Mattfield....thanks also for the nice post. I appreciate your honesty regarding you being bi-polar, etc. My sister was diagnosed with bi-polar last October after she abandoned her family for a 4 day drinking binge (She is also an alcoholic). After her return home, she entered treatment where she was diagnosed with bi-polar and also Pre-mentrual dysphoric disorder (i think I got that right). Her hormones have always played a role on her mental/emotional stability, along with adequate rest, diet, and medication. Unfortuantely, my sister has not embraced her disorder and continues to live a very reckless life and refuses to properly take care of herself. I am convinced she likes the attention she gets from her behavior, since my parents are "enablers". Anyway, you gave me some hope in knowing that there is someone with the same disorder that is honest and upfront about it. Also, I am sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he is comfortable.

Superwife....from these posts you will see that your sisters are worried about you. But as my Mom would always say, "No news is good news." I am sure we will hear from you soon with good news that you are well.

I am feeling very gassy today and crampy. The vagninal cream I was prescribed last week does have side effects that include stomach cramps, diarrhea, nauseau, and fatigue. I have it ALL! So, I am on the couch watching the news...so sad about the murders at VA Tech.

Jazzy... Stay warm! I really do feel for you with all wet/cold weather.

To all my other sisters...I hope you are resting today (not hanging curtains TTYS, Rabbito

? Internal Skin Loss

I've been getting some sharp pain in my lower right side today and after a bathroom visit there was some 'Pink Skin' on the paper when I wiped myself...I'm not sure if the pain and skin are linked.

Has anyone any ideas ?

It looks like us 4-weekers (or almost 4 weekers) are having rightside pains. I have been having the same type discharge, and it is usually heavier from the pressure of a BM. I think what is happening to me is that when I push, I also push out whats hanging around my vaginal healing sites. I have had discharge since day one, and I thought it was starting to lighten up with the use of the vaginal cream. But, I am finding it out that it has not fully gone away and the flow is changing day to day.

You used the word skin, and yes, I have seen some of that but its rare, and I mostly have pinkish/brownish goop My Dr. told me that the vag cuff area does not scab, and the drainage is that wound healing. Sounds gross, but makes sense. Of course, like I did, call your Dr if you are concerned. Hope this helps!
