Superwife...I'm am so glad you were able to seek medical help and that you are now being able to rest at home. Hopefully you feel better too!

clinpic...so glad you are back from your trip. I'm glad you enjoyed visiting with family! Sorry about your nausea that is no fun at all...that seems to be my sign that I have done too much.

Feeling really down this evening and extremely sore (might have to take a tylenol3)...I think I over did it today. I didn't listen to my nausea...didn't rest when I felt it coming on. Today is the first day I got my 3 little ones ready for pre-school by myself. DM took them to school but I folded laundry and cleaned the bathroom while they were gone and some other miscellaneous things. Then after lunch went for a 30 minute walk (which was great to finally be in the sunshine) with 3 little ones and then a friend stopped by. Then received 3 phone calls (friends checking on me). Another friend and her daughter stopped over to visit. Then DH had several of his friends stop over while another of my friends called to check on me. Wow what a day!

Please, Please, Please don't get me wrong...I love all the care and concern from friends and family. Makes me feel so special! It was just overwhelming and I think I started the day off by being too busy.

Ok blah, blah, blah! Maybe tomorrow I won't be so sappy!

I am so glad to hear many of you are feeling better coming into this 4th week!

Have a great rest tonight!

I wish you all the best on Friday...exciting...remember to take care!

Becky and Jane...I was on Paxil for 3 yrs for panic/anxiety, and was recently changed over to effexor (pretty much the same thing) so that prob explains why I ahvn't had any problems with hot flashes either!

freezia...looks like you're one of the lucky ones too the
Effexor is what my doc had suggested. I'd been on Wellbutrin because of such bad pms but I haven't taken any of it since surgery. Now today I haven't had a single hot flash, so go figure. I am a little concerned about ongoing pms symptoms though where i still have the ovaries.

Oh I am a chatty girl tonight

Jazzy...please let us know what happens with the dr's call...and take care in the meantime...hopefully things dry up there soon!

Becky...I was changed to Effexor because he dr said that the Paxil causes weight gain...and the Effexor, is not suppose to do that...I didn't notice a change in that area at all...also either drug is very hard to stop, because of the side effects...you need to be weened off very carefully!

Wow, this nausea thing is new. I was feeling that way today, too! I thought it may be hormonal.

Angie, I think my lack of 's and night sweats has to do with the fact that I'm on Zoloft. From what I've heard they prescribe certain anti depressants for menopause symptoms.

Doctor called and said the pain I'm having in my lower right side is normal, and to start taking Motrin/Advil to relieve the pain. If by Thursday it's still there I should just come in. Seems in some cases, fluid builds up in certain areas and they would have to do an ultra sound to see if that's the case. Then they use a thin needle to extract it. Geesh.......I've been practically pain free since day #3, and now this? Okay, I'll stop whining since some of you have had far worse issues with your recovery.

Hope everyone is doing well and for the sisters that didn't have such a great day - here's hoping tomorrow is a better one!

s Paula

Ok, lets see if I can put this laptop down after this post..LOL!!!

Jazzy....I am right there with you with the pain..its around my incision, like I said earlier, the burning sensation, and it looks a bit raw... I'm def gonna keep an eye on it, and take my motrin, I forget to take it, and then I suffer...I sure hope the motrin/advil takes care of the pain until it subsides for you...and you can avoid that dr visit!

and Goodnight all!!!

Thanks, Ang - you too! Have you started applying Vitamin E oil? That may soothe the incision area and it definitely keeps it from itching!

Have a wonderful night!

It looks like us 4-weekers (or almost 4 weekers) are having rightside pains. I have been having the same type discharge, and it is usually heavier from the pressure of a BM. I think what is happening to me is that when I push, I also push out whats hanging around my vaginal healing sites.
So glad to hear that others are having these same symptoms. The pain I have is like a sharp shooting pain. Very weird. Thank goodness it doesn't last very long. I was thinking it is because I recently started driving (longer than 15-20 minute trips). We use our right leg a lot to drive. Maybe it's the muscle that hasn't been used since being cut? Who knows! If I called my doctor everytime I had an ache, pain, discharge, constipation, depression etc... she would have me commited!
Thanks to all for being so open about your experiences. It might me TMI for most people, but NOT US!!!

Did someone mention PMS? I too kept my ovaries and I should have known something was out of sorts this morning, because the first thing I did this morning was yell at my husband at 2 am because the dog was throwing up (somehow it was his fault just because he's a guy...LOL), then the other dog threw up at 5 am (gun shy, my hubby got up and dealth with that), and then I pretty much was *****y to him the whole day. If you new us, this is actually quite comical. He has been so wonderful through this whole process, and he was aware that I would still have PMS after the surgery. In fact, he just went to go get me a hot fudge sundae. Im such a princess...LOL. Anyway, I am having the usual PMS symptoms today...eating everything ( so much for the loss of appetite), mild hot flashes, and a little bit of anxiety. On top of all this I am dealing with the side effects of the anitbiotic vag-cream. This is so messsed up...But, when I looked at the calendar, I noticed that I would be getting my "period" next week. Wow, I think its going to take a few months to get used to this...The good thing is that this usually only lasts for a day or two...

Angelic...thanks for the info about the pain on your right side. I spent most of the day on the couch, so I haven't fel too much discomfort today. The incision on that side is taking longer to heal than the others and its kinda itchy too...I'll keep and eye on it.

Okay, time to pork out on the icecream.

I forgot to mention in my other post: I've not had any swellybelly, but now, four weeks into it, I look bloated. I've not been particularly gassy, but again, just fighting diarreah and nausea. And when I push on my belly it hurts. Has anyone else's stomachs just started into bloating out?
