Progress report this evening.....

Worked a full day today....was testing 2nd graders so I did not really teach...still a busy day. Walked on the treadmill for about 12.5 minutes till I had an almighty HOT FLASH!! Lovely thing. Overall feeling good. Just hope I can sleep tonight.

BM's still not back to regular 'like clockwork' though. Since I was home for 4 weeks my body was kind of used to going at will....now that I am on a schedule it's more of a problem. Can't leave those students unattended for that. Of course as much as I have been passing gas...they probably would be glad I went!! LOL

Catch you on the other thread.

hi everybody, Today is 6 weeks. I had an appointment today for my 6 wk check up. I got there and my doctor was doing emergency surgery. I asked if I could come back later. I was already worried and had to wait a few hours. I went back in and had my exam and everything is OK. Now I can have the long awaited SEX. Not really in the mood. I think I just am not ready but I feel like I have to give in. Ill let you know how it was. I still have a few tinges of pain that dosnt last to long and still a weird feeling in my bladder after i pee. The DR said that is ok. She also said to have my DH to take it slow. Im just still not really in the mood. Maybe if I try it out it will be good. Still nervous. the dr also said I could go back to work but I decided since I have a physical job I would like to stay out for 2more weeks. Im getting used to not having to go. I could really get used to this. I work 12 hour shifts and after I do about 6 hours of work at home I get tired and Need to rest. Well good luck on all of your post op checks and let us know how it went. Thinking about all of you. Valerie(freezia)

TC 231 A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Enjoy yourself. The best part about that is you dont have to answer to anyone or listen to them complain about anything.

My six week will be on Friday I'm happy to report that this is second week back to work and I've been working out for about 10 days. My doctor said I healed up in half the time it normally takes, which is the only good thing that has happened to me in the last three months!!! It has helped me out emotionally getting back to normal!!! We all heal in our own time though. I may be healing faster than normal physically but very very very slowly emotionally. I have been just going through the motions every day, I'm not really "in it", I'm just there.....if that makes sense! I've felt very depressed and anxious, sleep problems...it *****.

TC231, I feel so sorry for you. No one should treat you that way! Don't ever let someone 'make' you do something you don't wish to do. Don't accept less then someone who treats you with respect. Believe me, it's taken me until three years ago (age 43) to meet the man of my dreams. Be good to you and accept nothing less.

Ok, I don't know if I screwed up or not, so input please. Not sure I want to post this in a general thread, only to you, my friends. Six weeks today so we got frisky. Took it VERY easy, me on top controlling the pace, lots of lube, yadda, yadda. It was quite uncomfy, even a bit painful but not so much that I called it quits: more the virgin feeling. Now I'm bleeding. Not tons, just enough that its bright red. I haven't had any bleeding since week three, so now I'm wondering if something tore a little and I need to worry about it, or if anyone else has experienced this?

OOooh, Becky, sorry to hear that. May just be that your insides are still sensitive. Small blood vessels come to the surface and are agrivated. Relax.....I was told 6 weeks too, but I'm waiting until my 5/3 checkup. See how it goes and call your dr. in the morning.

I may give her a call in the morning. Good thing I love my doctor. It could be awkward if she wasn't such a professional since she goes to our church . Oh well, between feeling really bad and feeling good, dh will survive.

(((((((Becky)))))))) I'm so sorry you're dealing with this Please, do not be afraid of posting this on the Post-Op board: you will benefit from the experience of many women who are ahead of you in recovery. I'm sure they have hugs and helpful ideas to share with you.
