TC231 - glad to hear that you enjoyed dinner with Mom. The ladies here are awesome. They got me though a very difficult waiting period and now they're walking along side me during my recovery.

nogreatmischief.......ah yes......hockey is in the air here at my place, too. DS and BF are watching the Rangers play Pittsburg. My son is a diehard Rangers fan and is hoping they make the playoffs. I think a win tonight will clinch that. Woo hoo! It's one of the sports I understand and it's fast paced enough for me to enjoy.

Mary, it's funny because until I started telling a few friends of my impending TAH, I had no clue how many women I knew had already had one. Some were as young as some of the ladies on this site. It is so nice to be able to share with women who truly understand exactly what we're feeling. It's also comforting to know that we're not alone.

Reunion anyone? I had a dream that Rachael Ray (who I love) had all of us on her show to meet for the first time and we were wearing name tags that read our user names here. It was so great to finally put faces with names. There was a whole lot of laughing, crying and hugging going on!

All of us have situations over and above our surgeries......it's nice to be able to lend a shoulder or an ear to someone in need. Somehow life wouldn't seem as good if I weren't able to help another person out from time to time.

Okay....enough mushies! to the girls! Paula

We'd better be seeing Miette on here tomorrow or we'll all have to send her a private message and overload her.

Well I was having some trouble keeping up on the other thread. I tend to get distracted these days. The games are quick and continous....so I can just keep clicking along!!

It is tough to keep up when so many ladies are posting and you want to remember names and situations. Sometimes I spend most of my time reviewing posts so I say things that make sense!

I'll let Miette know about our new location! Good thinking Becky!!!

Ok, I must be feeling really emotional tonight because your post jazzyfromnj, made me cry as I love Rachel Ray too and woa wouldn't that be cool to have a reunion on her show.

I wish I had found you all pre op as I was really struggling with fear of the pain. I would loved to have heard about others pre op fears too. I have had 3 laporoscopies (sp) for the endometriosis and several cysts drained. With the last Lap being in Oct of 05 in which he just stopped the surgery because I was bleeding so bad from trying to remove the adhesion. So he just cleaned everything up, stopped the bleeding and closed up. He wanted to leave the decision of being down for 6 weeks to me since I had a 4, 3 and 2 year old at the time. Then in Dec 05 I had my gallbladder removed. So this is my 3rd surgery in 18 months. Wow-I hadn't even thought about that before...3 in 18 months. I tried playing softball on our coed team last summer and just couldn't get it together. I thought maybe I was just getting too old and I was very sad because I have played softball since I was 9. But I am looking forward to giving myself a year off and see how I do without all that abdominal pain I have had for so long.

Wow! That was alot of blah, blah, blah...I don't think I have every written that all down before.

Well, thanks for letting me share...like you had much choice

Hellooooooo....took me a while, but I found you.

What a great idea! I may not post as much as some of you, but I get a kick out of reading your posts.

Went to the gym for the first time today. Walked for one hour on the treadmill! Battling allergies. I have never had a problem with allergies my entire life. Get a hysterectomy and now it seems I am alergic to outdoors (ha). Sneezing all day, eyes watering, throat dry...ugh!
