Happy Easter everyone!!!

Glad I found this thread. I'm checking in from Florida. The weather today was just great. When I got up this morning it was 50 degrees. I had just made my morning tea and the power went off in the neighborhood and stayed out for about 1 and half hours. Hey at least I had my tea.

Jazzy -- thanks for getting this started I know I don't post very often but reading the stories helps.

Miette -- I have a treadmill but I'm afraid to use it just yet. I feel a little unstable on it. I like knowing I can stop when I need to stop with out worrying about turning the darn thing off. I just go for little walks with my dogs and Hubby.

KimberJ - I kept my ovaries, as well, and from what I've been told, the shock of surgery sometimes puts them to sleep for a while, so we may experience menopausal symptoms until they 'wake up'.

It's too bad that your DH isn't understanding your emotional state. You should let him read the "For Men" section as it may give him some needed information.

Today was a nice day at my sisters, but I'm thoroughly exhausted. I didn't do much, but just the up and down and helping out where I could has got me so tired. BTW, I bought some Vitamin E and that has helped immensely with the itching at my incision site. You can buy it in liquid form (I didn't know that). It's a tad pricey, but worth it. It will also help heal the skin too.

I'm also getting pressure when I pee, still, and I've noticed if I sit back a little bit (almost with my back against the lid) the pressure lets up a little.

Well girls, I think I'm going to sign off early tonight. I hope everyone's day was wonderful and that you're all feeling well.

s & sweet dreams - Paula

Hi ladies.....glad to hear all of you had a good day.

I'll be signing off early tonight, as I'm not going to be up too much longer. The thing that stinks about that is if I go to sleep too early, I'll be awake for a good part of the night.

Thanks, Dany! Hope you enjoyed your Holiday!

Well......it's back to work for me tomorrow. I work as a receptionist part time (Mon-Wed). I absolutely love it. Physically, I feel great and feel I am ready. My only problem is that I still get tired in the afternoon. Fortunately my job is not a strenuous one so I think I wil be alright. I am really looking forward to seeing my coworkers. They are a great bunch of people.

Getting up early should be a little difficult to as I have been sleeping until 8.

I hope you all continue to heal and have great week!

Good Evening Sisters,

Wow, I finally got through all of the posts since I last posted yesterday. A lot has happened and I am glad to see more & more of us find this sight. A reunion would be fun especially on the Rachel Ray show.LOL
Church was wonderful this morning. Pastor gave an awsome sermon about the dreams & hopes we have lost. DH is still a butt head. He says he loves me now but is still treating me like poo. Oh well I have the Lord to get me through & thats one thing he can't take away from me.
And my Easter Dinner was grand. In-laws said so.
Talk to you all later maybe.

Rachel Ray? I'm in! Maybe we could go on Oprah and ask for make overs since we are starting a 'new' phase in our lives.

Tired today. A lot of abdominal discomfort too. I sure wish this swelly belly thing would let up. I know it's my own fault for being on my feet too much. Tomorrow dh is home (teacher's spring break) and I am thinking I'll take up residence on the couch and tell him what I need to get done tomorrow. Some of my teacher friends are coming for a visit Tuesday and the house is a bit messy. Hope he doesn't have plans!

Good night sisters. "See'" you tomorrow!

KimberJ, I'm so sorry for you. During childbirth with my youngest (who is 16 now) I hemorrhaged and the DR began to prep me for a hyst, but all of a sudden I stopped bledding and they abandoned the hyst. I can't imagine what that would have been like to have a new baby and go thru major surgery too! You are the WOMAN and don't you forget it. Childbirth alone will make you so emotional and add this to the mix... you have every right to be blue, but don't hesitate to talk to your DR about this. There is so many things that they can do to make your life easier. Keep your chin up and know that we are all here for you. God bless you and your family

Speaking of Oprah... I have been making a list of things I want to do before I die and one of the things I listed is to be an audience member of the Oprah Show on a day that she is doing her "favorite things" show. Wouldn't that be the coolest??? I don't mean to sound morbid with my list, but it is something I've always wanted to do but never seem to have the time to make a list, so I thought that this would be the perfect time to make my list. You girls should try it, ist really makes you think. I'm going to go lay down I'm a little tire after such a busy day. ttyl Brenda, aka bjenkins

Hi KimberJ
Sorry for the confusion. The other location is the thread that Jazzfromnj started so that we could all chat about other issues.
Hysteriaville Over and Above our Recovery 3/18 to 3/26.
The new thread I was talking about was to post a couple a questions that I have about my recovery. I need to figure out how to do this so that it doesn't just stay within our group but is viewed by others. I'll let you know once I figure this out unless someone knows how to do this.

Mary
