Any May sisters out there?

We've made it this far pixiepoo and ann! I've decided to do what you have to do ann. I'm going to eat until noon and then liquids. I do have red jello and hope it isn't a problem....Am still waiting to hear from the pharmacy on how to take the bowel prep. The pharmacist was confused with how my GYN wrote the script! I don't think my GYN does many bowel preps, but I told him I had had adhesions years ago when they took my Left ovary and they couldn't all be torn down. GOOD LUCK ladies....can't wait to hear from you on the post op side! HUGS!

Any May sisters out there?

Good morning girls of the 23rd. Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of our lives!!!! My house is now the most beautifully clean house on the street. I will be happy to come home this.

I started the bowel prep at about 8:00 am so I am getting as clean as the house LOL. My doc said start the liquids at noon but I haven't had anything solid since about 7:00 am. I just keep drinking a lot of liquid so I won't be dehydrated. It actually feels good to be empty. I have a lot less pressure in my abdomen.

Diverchick, I have hit that place where I am eerily calm. 5 years of thinking about doing this and the time has come. I sooo can't wait to wake up without that mass in my belly.

Any May sisters out there?

Ann and Diverchick--
Good luck tomorrow! I have been following your posts and hope you have enjoyed your pre-hyst adventures!

I had my TVH May 14th and am feeling good. Nobody can talk you out of the fear, but by tomorrow afternoon you will find that the waiting truly is the worst part!

Make sure to rest a lot and relax! I have had a hard time getting into reading books, but HGTV, movies like "Under the Tuscan Sun", and magazines have been good.

Best wishes to you both and to all the May sisters!!
I will look forward to catching up when you update on the post-op side!!

Chris

Oliviatoo, how nice are you to wish us well. Diverchick and I have been pampering ourselves to alleviate the stress. I am really looking forward to feeling better and it seems to override my fear about going in. I know things will go well, its just un-nerving as you know. Tomorrow afternoon I will be comfortably resting on the other side.

I am looking forward to logging in when I get home.

I want to see under the tuscan sun as well. Thanks for reminding me. I am going to give my honey a list of movies to grab for me.

Diverchick, I had to drink 3 tbls of phosphate laxative and chase it with a soda. Yuk. I just downed it and immediately chugged some seltzer water to wash the taste away. I have to do it again at 4:00. Let me know how your doing. I am going every 20 mins and gurgling like crazy.

Hi scared03, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I wish surgery was earlier to get it over with. I didn't have to do liquid diet. I am doing the phosphate laxative-YUK! It's giving me the feeling of wanting to vomit. Not really having a good time tonight. My poor husband and kids Good luck and god bless to all the 23rd gals!
