My boss told me, "You MIGHT be a LITTLE bit sore for a few days, but that's why they make icepacks."

Well I was feeling good 10 days out. Had to pop in unemployment centre do drop off some papers for sick pay. I popped into work and one lady said to me
"Be careful I know one lady had to have it done 3 times"
huh once its gone how do you do it again LOL

For the woman who wasn't sure about the car ride. or letting her family go personally I would go but I feel great. Letting the family go for the day. I would go for that to cause I enjoy a day to myself and that would be awsome to me to just sit home and do what I want to do watch what I want and eat when I want with no one bugging me

isn't amazing how women dont even know how the female reproduction system works??? and they have kids! I also had someone from work ask me about getting pregnant after my hyster,, I told he no its not possible because I didnt have a uterus anymore and she said "yeah but dont you still have your ovaries".... now this came from a woman who had to use an infertility specialist to get pregnant!! did I say she isnt the sharpest tool in the shed??? she also offered me a parting story the day before my surgery about someone she knows had a hyst because of a fibroid and it turned out to be a cancerous tumor blah blah blah..... I just walked away from her..... HELLO!! lol lol lol

While I was having a hot flash, a friend said very matter of factly, "even though you had a hysterectomy, you couldn't be going through menopause." This was 3 weeks post-op.

My son's friend, who is like a son to me (18yo)said, "so...you going to get to put it in a jar, and can we use it in our role playing game?" Boys think like boys...

It's not just boys - I work with 36 guys - ranging from 24 to 50 - and several of them asked if I could get the doc to put everything in a jar so they could see it!

jars - oh my! This must be a guy thing. My 17 yo daughter has a hard time explaining things to her male friends. Not that she has to, but sometimes it comes up that her mother (me) is recovering. One guy asked if I had mono.

I had a co-worker ask me that if they take my cervix, could I still have sex. I tried hard not to laugh!
But the best comment came from a co-woker who had a hyst and she told me that sex gets even better! I looked at her and said "EVEN BETTER?!" I really hope so!

boys/guys etc...that is what I meant. One of them asked me if I urinated blood, I said, no...that is what you guys do when you have prostate cancer. Their eyes got wide as saucers. lol
