I really need my hair cut and colored too. I think I will wait awhile the trip to the nail salon was a big adventure today... I might wait a couple more weeks.!
Sophie, I had short hair for a while, just couldn't really pull it off!

hey, distracted.

I'm dying for pretty toes! My doc wouldn't let me wear polish to surgery and I haven't been able to bend long enough to paint my own. I have an irrational fear of nail salons which is a story best told in the chit chat room. Remind me.

All,

Have you all noticed really dry skin? I guess climate has a lot to do with it, but I never have dry skin. I'm not itching, but I'm chalky. I read somewhere you should contact your doctor if your nail health changes (becomes brittle). I wonder if the 2 are related. I suppose it could indicate dehydration.

Think I'll go get some senna tea and water, rehydrate and watch my movie...

Have a good night, girls!!!

Colls ... I read somewhere on this site that the dry skin is a side effect of being under anethesia. My skin has been drier than normal too so I've switched facial mosturizer, am using more body lotion and drinking TONS of water (I'm floating ..... ). Due to the funky Oklahoma weather we've had to turn our heater back on this week so that's not helping either.

my hair is shoulder length now, it used to be really long, I donated it back in october to locks of love! It was something my sister and I decided to do together because we both wanted to grow out our hair from short styles and knew we would end up cutting it out of frustration. Now, go figure, I am trying to grow it out again! haha

Tried not to eat too much, but party food is GOOD!

Glad to be home and back in my ponytail and jammies! BFF (hystersister from waaaayyyy back) is coming over to watch a chick flick - A Walk To Remember - Nicholas Sparks, an eastern NC native - you know him! Anyone seen the movie? I read the book YEARS ago and cried like a baby. Oh great... grab the tissue!

I'll be here for a bit. Gonna go check on a few other threads.

I know about Nicholas Sparks. DD loves him! I saw the movie A Walk to Remember - with Mandy Moore? Also, The Notebook. That movie makes everyone cry - including men!

Yes! I thought it was just me! My tummy has been really dry. I put shea butter on it - careful to keep away from incision. The shea butter has worked. I've always had dry elbows. I had shea butter around to use on them and my heels. Works nicely on my belly - not so much on my heels.
