Thanks to everyone for letting me whine yesterday. I took Jay's advice and took Tylenol pm instead of a tylenol 3 before bed and sleep a full 6 hours straight, and then another 2 hours this afternoon. Sleep sure makes a big difference as I feel almost "normal" today, whatever that is. Jay, I sure hope you are better today. Those type of symptoms you shouldn't ignore! I hope everyone is having a good day today!

Big day for me - sat at my in-laws all day anticipating a visit to the dr.'s office. Instead, I talked to my obgyn on the phone, then my primary care physician. Made appt. with obgyn for next week to discuss "hormonal issues". She changed pain med from IB800mg to Darvocet. She wanted me to call my regular dr. about blood pressure and vision issues. So, another phone call to regular dr. Last time I was in to see her (a few days prior to surgery because of high chol) my blood pressure was high. She said since the readings have been so high in the last 24 hrs. she didn't want me to come in - she wants me to do nothing- she called in a script for Diozine (?) for blood pressure. If vision becomes an issue again, go straight to ER - both dr.'s told me that.
Last night my blood pressure got up to 140/102, pulse rate 95. Today it has been in the 130s/90s, pulse rate 100-110. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, overweight by about 30lbs...I'm a heart attack waiting to happen!
I took 2 Tylenol PM last night - I slept between 11:30-1:30 then up until 4:30, then I slept until 9:30. Maybe taking the Darvocet at bedtime will help me.
That's it! That's my day. Thanks for your concerns and messages! I love my Sisters!

Jayhawk - Sorry to hear your day wasn't the best and that you now have other health issues to deal with along with your recovery. I sure hope you are taking your doctors orders and are doing nothing! Relax and take good care of yourself!

Jay, so so sorry you're having such a tough time. I sure hope you get along with your in-laws! I guess we'll have to lay in bed and catch up on B&B "together" tomorrow. Hope you're feeling better.

I had a good day. Started out with a hemorrhoid and nothing to treat it, so we went to town. One would think that all the walking I did (Lowe's and Wal-Mart) that I'd be wiped out, but it was amazing. At one point, DH said to me - "you look like you are really getting around better." I was. I had just been thinking how walking was not the slightest bit uncomfortable! By the time we made it to the check out at Wal-Mart I was back to the pg waddle, though! I'm tired tonight, but feel really good about my outing. I hope I don't pay for it tomorrow. Fortunately, I have no obligations of any kind - other than Ellen, Dr. Keith, the ladies at the View, Y&R, B&B, ATWT, and GL -- and of course my hystersisters!!!. We'll probably order out and rent a movie tomorrow night, so I'm set. Hope you all have a good day.

Hi sisters! Although I don't respond everyday on here I do love reading how you are all doing and I think of you so much. My husband said I am addicted to hystersisters. (of course we don't have t.v. and you can only read so much!) I decided to upgrade and get my crown jewels..this site really has been helpful and so have all of you.

Hope you are all feeling well, I wonder how Sophia is doing? Probably tired from work, give us an update if you can.

Jayhawk, Jenni, ImIrish have had more hurdles than you deserve...hang in there ladies. I pray for all my sisters every night.

Sometimes I feel like I know you guys...I wish I was rich and could fly you all out here and we could have a picnic in the mountains...actually that was something I dreamt recently.

Talk to you all soon....sweet dreams!

Thanks Sisters! I'm hoping the Darvocet helps me sleep because I cannot take anything with acetometophen (Tylenol) while taking the Darvocet. Out with the Tylenol PM. The pharmacy had not received the fax from my dr. office for my blood pressure medication which I am supposed to start in the morning. I won't be able to start it now until Saturday morning. In the meantime, I'm not supposed to do any activities - like I'm running marathons now! I've not been doing anything!!!!
Going to take my meds and hope for a good nights sleep. At night I take the Darvocet and a pill for reflux. In the mornings I take pill for b.p. and my high chol. I'm a walking medicine cabinet!
Thanks again for your well wishes and concerns.
