2nd Opinion gyn/onc

I'm having a 2nd opinion gyn/onc 4/9 at my local hospital. This is first appt. since a second tumor was located on the outside of my rectum during colonoscopy so I'm a curious about this as well since it didn't show up on any U/S's these past two months.

And did I mention that my period is due? It came the day before last month's gyn/onc appt. Must be some sort of weird menstrual karma. :burning:

I have my port put in on the 12th and start chemo the 13th.

Started steroids yesterday, 6 first day, then 5,4,3,2,1 finishing on Thursday. Chemo Friday.

All these drugs and potential side effects makes me nuts. Stopped my Lexapro and seem to be doing OK. Just one less drug I figure.

Good luck to all this week.

Happy Easter to all.

I'm back to the urological oncologist! I'm having blood in my urine again. Was given a dose of antibiotics thinking it might be inflammation again, but even with the antibiotics, blood continues. Not much. But, shouldn't have any! I had contacted gp, but she said go back to uro/onc, and he agreed. So, I'm getting another cystoscopy, I'm sure. At least at their office, they did it very 'well', no pain - either they do the lidocaine type stuff 'right' and/or the doctor's technique is good. So, could they have missed something last time? Something there in addition to the inflammation? We shall see. <sigh>
