Anyone have an ovarian cyst pop???

Ok, I have no idea what happened but I have been taking it easy since my cleaning frenzy 2 weeks ago. This weekend my family came down with a fun head cold Yesterday afternoon I sneezed and it hurt so bad on my right side that I fell to the floor crying. It sounded like a pop and then a gurgle on my lower right ab side. That is the side my remaining ovary is on. Anyway, the rest of the day and into the night anytime I would sneeze, cough, or laugh it would hurt so bad it brought me to tears.

Anyone have any ideas??? I was thinking it might have been a cyst that popped but thought I would post here.

Thanks girls

Anyone have an ovarian cyst pop???

I've had a couple that have burst. I usually had some light spotting and some tenderness over the area where the ovary is after the initial pain. I didn't have a lot of pain though, just some tenderness. Did your doctor do any work on that side? If the pain continues for more than a day or two or increases you should call your doctor.

Take care,

Anyone have an ovarian cyst pop???

I have had several ovarian cysts to pop and it is common to hear or "feel" the pop. I would have your doctor do a ultrasound and make sure that is what it was.

Anyone have an ovarian cyst pop???

Boy, I'd sure be calling the doc if I were you. That could be anything...

I had many cysts rupture- some were painful, some not so much. And, in a couple of cases I did "hear" them rupture- although I think it was more a sensation than a sound.

Call your doc...better safe than sorry.

Let us know how you are doing.
