5 weeks for me too. Has anyone had any PMS type symptoms? The past few days I've been bloated, crampy and my face broke out just like just before my period would come. Otherwise I'm starting to feel better. The dr finally OKed me for swimming and baths. I was so thrilled. Have a great memorial day weekend ladies.

Ocean if you still have your ovaries you are still going to have some PMS type symptoms, if you dont have your ovaries I dont know why you feel that way - lol.

I finally feel back to my old self - except for this sore throat I have. I guess when they say 6 week revovery they mean it. I am so glad to be done with this part of my life. It is time to move onto bigger and better things.

I'm also having cramping and period type feelings. I had a complete hyst. so this surprises me. Also, is anyone out there having daily spotty bleeding at 6 weeks post-op? (Not just discharge, but bright red bleeding?)

Everyone

Hello everyone:
It has been 51/2 weeks since my surgery April 19, I am really feeling very good. I still get tired, but not as bad. It is amazing how every day it does ge a little better. I hate to admit it but I like everyone doting on me. I really don't want it to end. I am usually the one who does every thing. Super Mom. Nothing is ever too much. Until lately, some things are too much. Sometimes I do get a pain on my lower right side, and I am having discomfort along with redness in my belly button. I am on estrogen, and dealing with it fine. I still get a jittery feeling through my body as if I just came off a vibrator. I find if i just sit and relax, I seem to rejuvenate. Even though I get tired, I can't seem to sleep, I just have to rest.
If anyone wants to get a good laugh with themselves or at themselves. go see Menapause the Musical show. My husband and I went, it was so entertain. We loved it. Today is Memorial Day, an I am so pleased to be able to enjoy it. Hope all of you enjoy. I hope this will be the last Memorial Day with our troops away.
