lapro scar indented-possible suture material

I might be going under the knife again to repair a lapro scar that is indented and has hard knots underneath it. The Dr says that he thinks it is suture material that did not dissolve. Anybody experience this? It really doesn't hurt it is very unsightly though. The other 2 scars healed very nicely. I had that surgi-strip tape over them for a while but I don't know how many stitches were put inside. I also don't know how he is going to sew me back up if he is only opening that scar up??? Any similar stories would be appreciated.

Hi adleger
I'm sorry you might need to have this fixed. I hope it's just a small procedure that won't cause you much of a set back.
I didn't have this, but maybe some others will see this who have exprienced it. Let us know how it goes.
's, Rita
