Good morning, everyone...two weeks today since surgery, and I feel much better, my problem is mental, worrieng I did too much the last two weeks and w/cause problems down the road. I didn't lift anything, but once I tried to open a window, and I vacuumed up a small area last night, and I have been picking up the floor for a week. Does anyone think thats too much? Other than that, I have laid down a LOT, and just walking slow, no baths, driving or fast movements at all. Please someone tell me I didn't do too much!!! (LAVH)

Clearley,
You seem to be a person who has to stay busy, you have to take it easy so everything will heal as it should. You are the best judge of whether or not you over did you it, your body will let you know! Enjoy getting to know yourself and trust the steps you take. Slow and easy is best for now, do you agree?

Hello From The Uk

HI lADIES

I am 2 weeks post op & not doing too bad. The only thing
i have apart from stomach cramps is a build up of fluid
which runs directly above my incision. It's very painful
& when i have been sitting for a while & then stand up
it's sooooooo uncomfortable. Anyone else have this problem.

Love Bev xx

Hi Bev,
How do you feel in the shower with the warm water on the incision? This may helpful, check with your doctor if it continues must longer. It never hurts to be sure! Take care of yourself.

hurts to pee

Im in my second week of recovery of a TVH. The pain is still with me but seems to get worst when I need to pee or have a bm. Also if I sit to much, getting up is a challange, the pain is quite severe. Im not a fan of taking the pain meds because they make me feel depressed so basically controlling the pain with motrin. Not a happy camper.

I'm feeling a little loopy. I feel twitchy. I called the doctor and he stopped the hormone Enjuvia I was taking and gave me a new one - Premarin. I haven't started the new one, and I'm still twitchy. I see the dr in two days for my two week checkup -TAH. I am concerned about the hormones because I really have had a difficult time with depression and I'm worried it will start again.

Hi Eleanor

I can cope with the warm water on the incision it's just in general walking around the house etc. I will def visit the DR
if it doesn't get any easier
