Hi ladies,
Encouraging to see that we are all getting spurts of energy and then totally flaking out. I was cautious on our 3 hour road trip on Saturday. I did too much getting up and visiting family at the reunion.. DH husband was after me like the police... I was belly sore and VERY tired by the time we got into our room at 8 PM. The drive home yesterday was smooth and I have pretty much been in bed since then. Feel exausted today.. and I am giving in.
I see Dr. in the morning for my almost 4 week mark. Swelly Belly for sure, mild headache the past couple of mornings but it disappears by mid-morning.. I am on HRT thinking it might just be allergies...?
How do we get the glue off our skin from changing the patch??
I also have been hearing that this surgery is the best thing thatever happend to many women out there. I had aunts caution me on Saturday to taek edvantage of this healing time....One chance to heal, that's it.
Afraid I might not ask the questions I need to tomorrow. So I am writting them ALL down.
Restfull and peace filled days.

I guess I may be overdoing it a bit. Driving shopping walking eating out all in the same day. visiting relatives , etc. Then yesterday after church I just collapsed all day. My husband is impatient with me. He thinks I should just get up and go. He isn't very patient with me. Makes me feel guilty for just wanting to heal1... Any help?

It helped me to have my husband read with me the 3-4 week post op checkpoints board. I have had to learn the hard way, I have over done it and spent all day yesterday in bed, made for such a wonderful holiday

The stickie is where we stay at the top of the list of posts all of the time. See how the first 5 or 6 items listed say stickie...well they don't move below the other stickies. We are not there anymore...we drop down to the regular order...guess it means we are on our way!!! YAHOOOOOOOO.............................

Please either print out or have your husband read the 3-4 week check points on this site. I read them to my Dh and then the other day he read them himself and it all really settled in. He is in the kitchen now cooking.
He has been great all the way through, but when he took the time to read the whole thing we had major discussions on how this is going to happen the next 2-3 weeks before I go back to work.
No guilt just good healing , we have one chance to heal.
