HELP! Anyone feeling sick? For the past two days I have felt sick to my stomach with the dreadful "swallows" and very loose movements. When I stand, I tend to get very lightheaded and the swallows hit hard. I seem better when I am just sitting or lying down. I have some tenderness still on the right side of my incision, but am not sure any of this is related to the hyster. I am released to return to work on Monday, but am concerned with this new development. Any suggestions? Anyone feeling/felt this?

Wow! Sounds like something unrelated to your hysterectomy! Hope you're feeling better!

6 wks. p.o. plus 1 day! Yeah!!

Hi, all my wonderful hystersisters! I hope everyone is healing well and getting back to their life as normal, minus ofcourse, the pain.

I have been doing well. Started back at the gym, but only one time this week. I am listening to my body and just following it as far as what I think I can do without overdoing it.

I am feeling well. Still get tired by the end of the week, but you know what? I am feeling less tired each week, so I know my stamina is coming back, slow as it may, it is coming. I am also finding a hormonal balance with my natural hormone replacement therapy. I am doing well! No hot flashes, no night sweats, no crying, no irritability. NHRT has been a God send and I am so grateful!!

My husband has left for the weekend (first time we have been seperated since my surg. and I am going to use this time to kinda "put things into perspective and breathe" so to speak. It is really the first time that I have had to be alone since my surg. and I need it!! My bff is going to visit tomorrow evening for a "girls nite" and I am so excited!

Just wanna say to you all that read and post, thank you for letting me come here and just write about whatever is on my heart. You are all special and I pray each nite for God' Holy Spirit to surround and comfort you!!

Take care and remember to Poohtie.

Hey Ladies! Haven't been on in a few days. My granddaughter is visiting, she is 8 and to say the least, I've been busy. Had my 6 week check up Wednesday. Everything was great. I feel I am doing well, just wish it wasn't raining so much so I could get out and walk or jog. I have gained some weight, but thats how I am, lose some and gain some. Oh and ladies, had the big "O" and it was great, even though there was a little bit of pain with the intercourse. It was worth it just to be that close to my DH again. Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well and I have really appreciated this web site and all the support. Talk to you all soon.

Six weeks today sisters! Wahoo!
I can't believe I am here. I am so happy to see and read all the posts of everyone getting back into life! I have been feeling good this week, think I over did it yesterday! Today I have been pretty tired but I am so excited to see the Dr on Monday. My DH took the morning off to go with me, I think he is anxious to hear what she will allow me to do ha ha! I too have to admit what a blessing this website has been for me and my recovery. I was so terrified of this experience before it happened, and now I am beginning to feel ok with it. It helped me so much to see how many other sisters were experiencing the same things! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Look forward to sharing my check up news with you all on Monday!
Ciao

Bella, Let me know what your dr. says you can do and can't. The nurse said she would tell me and I had so many questions I forgot to mention it and she never did. I figure listen to my body and I know I shouldn't be lifting anything heavy yet. thanks. Yvonne

Nurse 2005,
From one nurse to another take it slow if you can when you get back to work. My surgery was may 1st. I went back to work early because I work part time. Still very tired and swelling by the end of shift. Bye the time I go home I'm pretty achey and sore, no real pain though. My staff has been great. The switching shifts definately doesn't help. good luck
