Bleeding after da Vinci hysterectomy

I had surgery on March 23rd and I'm still spotting and I'm concerned because I don't see anywhere posted on the net, any complications from this surgery. I asked my dr and she said that it will subside but when.

I had a LSH and I have seen a few cervix retaining ladies post that they had spotting for up to 6 weeks post-op.

Have you called your doctor about this at all? It might be a good idea. He might want to examine you and make sure that there is nothing else going on with you. I had a DaVinci LSH as well. I had very light spotting for the first two weeks. Then at 6 weeks, I got my first mini period. Are you aware of mini periods? I had a a TAH & bladder suspension on 03/21/07. I came home from the hospital with a catheter that was removed a week later. That same night I passed 2 large blood clots while in the shower that scared me to death. After my shower, I was sitting in my bedroom combing my hair and again I felt like something was coming out and another one came out. This time I called the doctor and I was told to lay down, and to come to her office first thing in the morning. Needless to say she did a pelvic exam and she could not figure out what happened. I've been fine ever since. My theory was that the day of my surgery I was supposed to start my period and maybe because of the surgery the blood that was suppose to come out somehow clotted somewhere in my system.....anyone else have a problem similar to mine.
