estroidal patch!

I am so glad my doc put me on this patch
Unbelievably so it has worked better than ever!
I can't believe that it seems to be EXACTLY what I needed.
(One thing I have not mentioned is that it "appears that "
my boobs are doing something like finally deciding to look their age!)
I have been the same size through four children and maybe just maybe this is what I have been needing all these years! Way cool for me!
I hate to say it but I am tired of looking like I am 12!
Maybe this helps...good luck! Estrodial .01.
One question for anyone I am getting quite the rash under neath the patch and boy does it itch!
Does or has anyone had any problem similiar.
It has worked so well I just hate to complain but it definetely is annoying. I will live with it though if there aren't any options. Maybe it is just the glue!

Estradiol patch

3DWoman,
I'm glad to hear that you are doing so well on the Estradiol patch! I've had "Patch rash" and itching as well. What I do is rotate my sites...After I've used the left side of my abdomen I go to the right, meanwhile I'm removing the residue from the left side with nail polish remover (its very cooling and feels good!)and a cotton ball, then a little Hydrocortisone Cream. This may not work for you, but nail polish remover will remove all that sticky residue! Some of the ladies on this forum have suggested using your butt as a site as well. I tried it this week and it does work! Good Luck!

Estradiol patch

Hi! I had a rash from the Vivelle Dot, and it got worse with each patch, even though I did rotate them and never placed one on the same spot. I got a lot of great advice from other hystersisters on how to prep the skin before applying them, how to treat the skin after, but nothing worked. I ended up discontinuing it, eventhough I was feeling great (otherwise) on them. Actually, I still have a scaly itchy patch left from 5 weeks ago when I tried to remove the adhesive with goo-gone. I guess I was one of the supposedly rare people with an allergy to that product.

Now I go to a compounding pharmacy for a customized gel which contains estrogen and progesterone. My body is doing really well, even better than on the Dot! I was worried the gel would cause a rash, but so far so good
