Nurses Week 2007

Today starts Nurses Week.
I just wrote a short note to my nurses, both my research nurses and the gyn/onc nurses, to thank them wish them a happy nurses week.

I know they will appreciate being remembered. I have been a nurse for 34 years and love the little notes I get from residents and families.

Thank a nurse this week.

Nurses Week 2007

I am going in to work tonight with another manager and we are passing out cake, cookies and punch to the night shift for the starting of nurses week. I enjoy doing it because I get to visit with the staff I do not see much and it is also a positive reason to visit! Should be done by 2am at the latest!!! Others took care of the day shift today!

Happy Nurses Week to all of the nurses out there!

Nurses Week 2007

Weird how peoples thoughts are different concerning nurses. I just got off the phone with the nurse in my gyne/oncs office. I just told her I loved her & appreciate the job she does. On the other hand I am a nurse!! I am a Cardiac Care manager & my patients could care less. LOL. Also where I work they do not single out the nurses for the jobs they do. They do have 1 day for employee appreciation. I would like to wish all the nurses a Happy Nurse's Day & would like to say that you are all appreciated.
