I worked part time last week and I am supposed to be full time this week. I have a full calendar and a bunch of employees with expectations...but I feel worse than last week. I already posted that I vaccumed on Saturday and that was a mistake. My tummy was sore all day yesterday and it still hurts. Oh well, hopefully it will be better by the end of the day.

Enough whining... I also lost 8 lbs since surgery and I am eating normally. I hope to keep it off.

Ang - That 18 yr old! Arrgh! If feasable for you, call a cleaning service to do a one time deep clean for you, but wait until after the 18 YO leaves -one less person to mess things up.

It' supposed to rain here by noon, so I need to get out for my walk ASAP.

I just got home from my first partial day back at work. So far I still feel ok. Yesterday was not a good day though. I hope everyone else is still doing well.

I do have a question for you though.......Has anyone had any appetite problems since their surgery? I have had zero appetite and when I do eat it just doesn't sit well. (real heavy and a little naueseating at times) I was just curious.

No upset stomach but a lack of appetite and when I am hungry, I eat only a small portion of what I use to eat. Wow, back to work, you are a brave one. I am taking a full 8 weeks :-)

I'd love to take a full 8 weeks, but I simply can't afford it. My disability is only paying about a third of what I normally make. Where I work doesn't have a lot of leave time, either.

Jenn, I'm glad your work day went well. I'm looking forward to going back to work, too. So far, I'm down for 6 weeks off, but I have a really physical job, so I'm wondering if I may end up with 8 weeks.

My appetite has been surprisingly good--I expected to not each much at all, but that hasn't been the case. I have noticed the last few days, though, sometimes I'll be ready to eat, and other times, the thought of food isn't so appealing. I guess it's part of the recovery process.

I'm so excited today. I ordered a couple of books from Amazon about premature menopause and they finally came! I'm learning a lot, but I feel bad for my doc when I see him next--I'm going to have soooo many questions!

Hope your walk was enjoyable!!!!

Oh the 18 y/o-I am SURE he is going to learn a huge lesson when the Drill Instructor is in his face. I know it may sound like Im a horrible mama, but I can't WAIT for him to get a nice dose of reality. He will be thinking he has it pretty darn good here at home

I would LOVE to hire a cleaning service. Problem is, we had a woman who came in every other week for the heavy stuff-can't afford her with me out of work. Why didnt I think about disability insurance??? Guess I will be looking in to some once this is all over. SO anyhow, the house falls on to me or no one. I guess it will get done eventually. I am going to try to do a room or so a day. Have yet to do anything today, have been working from home to try and keep some $$ rolling in.

Oh well, no rest for the wicked I guess!!!

Hi,

My surgery was March 6 and I am experiencing an hormonal rage. I get angry as I never did before and I am depressed. I also am exhausted all the time. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this.
