Hi All, Thanks for the advice. You were right. I just came home early from work because of cramps. I called the doctor and they said I need to rest and put my feet up. If the spotting does not stop in three days, I have to have something put on the incision to make heal. At my two week checkup they told me that I was all healed...they said I am probably over doing it. I wish I hadn't gone back to work so soon. I made an appointment with a gynecologist that specializes in hormones, but the first openning was 7/7. Oh well....I am going to go put my feet up.

Thanks for the support...

Thanks quilterperson, cookmac2, thepotter and jtwilliams! It was so out of the blue...a little more sadness today, so I thought maybe I am pushing it too hard and decided to take a nap after feeling weepy, and that helped a little. On the happy side of the day, I napped on my stomach...that was a wonderful change!

sismith~ I'm sorry you have to wait so long to get in. Do icepacks help any?

Hi Sismith
I too have had the pain at the end of urination, my gyn told me it was probably from the vagina cuff!! But I went to my regular doc today and turns out I have a wicked UTI. I too am spotting but the Gyn said it can take up to 6 weeks!! I see him next week and hopefully get the okay to go back to work!!!

The only thing I am concerned about is that I work 12 hour nights and my schedule is 3 nights back to back next week!!! Just hope the ER isnt too busy that night!!!

Anyways good luck with everything!!!

Hey nursejrs, did you have pain each time you emptied your bladder or only sometimes??? I went in for another urine test today. I figured mine was from the vaginal cuff also. Now I wonder. I have a terrible time with antiobiotics so I hope not. Let me know...thanks!!!

Thanks Nursejrs for replying so quickly. Bummer that sounds like what I have. I have had it for like 2 weeks. I thought it was normal. I guess we will share surgery dates and UTI's. ps WOw That is a wicked work schedule. I bet life in the ER would be totally exciting. I have a boring desk job stuck in a cubie! Any McDreamy's where you work??

Hey ladies! I just had my appt and I'm good to go. I go back to work next Wednesday, so I have to enjoy my time off! He gave me a prescription for Ambien to help me sleep and said I can take black cohosh to deal with the hot flashes.

BUT, I'm not cleared for sex!!!! He said to wait the full six weeks b/c my stitches are still healing up internally. So, Jtwilliams, don't dispair!! You might not have been cleared for that this quickly anyway.

I'm tired from my big trip, so I'm gonna go rest. Have a great day!

Hey Potter -congrats! My 6-week appointment is Tuesday and I hope to get the "all clear." But I had to call her yesterday to get my Ambien! I just couldn't deal with the sleepless nights anymore. I actually got a generic and it only cost $7.00! I slept so well last night. I awoke once and thought - uh oh here we go again and it was 6:30 a.m.! WOW! Enjoy the weekend and the rest of your time off. Just because you've been cleared for work doesn't mean you are fully recovered. You still need to be kind to yourself. So ladies, there is light at the end of this LONG tunnel. I really didn't think this would be so hard; but it is. We are stronger than we know that's for sure. I couldn't have made it through without all my sistas!

Hope all you ladies are doing good, hope your UTI's clear up. I am doing good, feeling well sore at the end of the day. going back to work on the 25th.
Got some rotten info today though, they denied by short term disablity, I am so mad. last year I when into dr office for lower pelvic pain, I thought I had another UTI I get them quite often and they did a urine test didn't have one, but was told to increase my fluid and if that did fix it to come back in on monday. Well Just because it stated lower pelvic pain they denied it. That is such a general compalint I could have been constipated or anything and they denied on that.
I had by hyster for untrine prolapse and adenomyosis, but I never had no pelvic exam ever from my PCP only my GYN dr. How can they do that. I have never seen my PCP for any female problems!!!!!!!
I don't know what Iam going to do about this, it makes me sick I have to play some catch up on some bills now.

So sorry Cherrybeary. I would give them a call and contest it. Sometimes that will work and it is worth a try. Maybe the dr's office can write something for you. UTI, still haven't gotten a phone call from teh dr. Went into the LAB on Tues. I would have thought I would have gotten a call by now. May call later today.
