Hey Cookmac, yep got the "all clear". I waited until after the exam and she said that I could resume normal activities but to take it slow. I said that we already did. She wasn't overly happy. I got the stare at the floor and say nothing from her. A few minutes later she asked how everything is working. LOL She also said it gets better with time so if it gets better than that is a double

I hope that everyone had a great 4th of July! It seems like just yesterday that we were in the first weeks of May and just out of surgery!

ps Does anyone else have a 3 month post op appt???

JT - Glad to hear it! Our 4th was very rainy, so not much doing. DS will have to wait until Sunday for fireworks. I can't believe we all have come so far. I hope it's an inspiration for all of the "ladies in waiting". I've been really overdoing it and I'm exhausted. Dad had surgery and work is very busy. I'm really feeling it. Go back slowly.

No more post-op appointments for me.

TAH, kept ovaries, 5/8.

Hey cookmac.. Sorry to hear about the rain. That makes it not very fun. Our's was HOT.. 104! Okay, I so blew it yesterday. Played volleyball in the pool for 2 hours, played a bean bag game, cooked and cleaned for 20 and was up and running around until 2 AM. Well, now I have some bulging line that is below my incision. Never had it before. Has anyone had such an ugly monster?? Will it go away?? I felt fine but noticed last night and it is still there this morning.

I'm puffy above & below my incision & it gets weird little feelings. Numb in spots & still tender in others.
I'm back in my regular size 6 jeans & my energy is back so that's good! I think we're just healing.
I don't think about the "hyst" all the time now & that's good, too!

JT - That's called over-doing it. I notice it too. I'm puffier in the evening after I've done too much too. But I'm fitting into clothes that didn't fit last summer, so that's good. I will say it's weird not to have a period (but I still get PMS and that's really weird. Anyone else?

I still get PMS, but it's not as bad as it was when I was having periods. I still have a moody day or two about a week before my period would start, and foods smell or taste funny, just like they would a week before my periods. I haven't had the breast tenderness or the insomnia I used to have. It's strange in a way to have some PMS with no period, but I don't even think about the "no period" part anymore. It's just what's normal for me now.

Okay, so I may have gone a little overboard yesterday, but will this bulgey ugly, under the skin catepillar go away?? It is not pretty. As for the PMS, isn't it normal to bite off DH's head 2 days a month???? We wouldn't want them to think that we weren't normal! And WOOHOO for no more periods! Especially during the summer!

PMS is still lurking here too! Instead of pre- it's post now. Still get puffy and I get a fuller feeling when I eat. Started on my crunches to get this rid of this puff. I think that this will all gradually ebb. I hope! Isn't it really weird to not have to worry about having the big P anymore? It's gonna be great! Now I can go somewhere and not have that worry. Going camping next week and that's one thing off my list to pack! Yea!!

Eww, we are going camping too. I doubt to the same place being as we are on the opposite end of the USA! LOL yeah, isn't it great. It would never fail that I would forget a pill while camping and start the big P while camping...great...NOOOOT. Not this time though!

Oh I know not having to PLAN around the P it is going to be soooo GREAT!!! No worries. I still have PMS also but not as bad as before I do not miss the aches that I had and the severe headaches. I hope it continues to be very mild.
I do have the insomnia, I could live without that.
WOW we all can swim camp and anything without that nonsense.
